Chapter~3

EAMMA'S POV:

It's hard to believe it's only been two weeks since I had seen Louis and the boys. I missed him dearly. It was going to be another week and a half before I would be able to get lost in his gorgeous blue eyes again. I headed home to check on my sister and see if she wanted to go get some dinner, since mom was at work.

My phone began to ring as I pulled into the drive way, I figured it was Nikki again. She had flown out to be with Harry a few days ago. I looked at the phone and found it was Justin Coy, my ex-boyfriend. We hadn't spoken in what seemed like ages, we had remained friends after our relationship grew more distant. There was just no way we could be together with him going off to the Marine Corps and me going off to college. I answered the phone with, "Hi stranger."

"Hey, Emma. Nice to hear from you too." he said with a laugh. I replied with a slight giggle, it was nice to hear from him.

"How are you?" I asked.

"Been better."

"Why's that?"

"Cause I ain't with you."

"Aww, Thanks Justin," I hated to ruin on his parade, "you do remember we're not together any more."

"Yeah, I know, I know. I've just missed you, that's all, and are you doing anything tonight?"

"Um, well I was just goin to check in with River and see if she wanted to get some dinner."

"Oh, okay, well I was just going to ask if I could see you before they ship me back out."

"Sure, you can tag along for dinner if you'd like."

"If you don't mind."

"Oh, not at all. Meet us at Leighanne's?"

"My favorite."

"Okay, see you there." I hung up the phone as I pulled into the drive way.

I walked into the house and set my keys on the counter, "Hey, Riff. I was coming check up and see if you'd like to go get some dinner." There was no answer. I began to get a little worried, "River?" I walked into the living room and saw River sitting in front of the TV watching the news, "Shhhh." she yelped at me as she turned it up.

Images of the boys flashed over the screen. I sat down beside her and listened to the middle-aged blonde women who spoke.

"Today's top story: Louis Tomlinson, of the hit boy band One Direction, gets a little frisky with the ladies last night after him and the other guys decided to go out clubbing. Tomlinson was said to have been seen dancing with multiple women throughout the night, and possibly even took one home with him." Pictures of Louis with his hands all over some other girl were now on the screen. A wave of rage and sorrow rushed over me as tears began to swell in my eyes.

I had heard enough I ran to the door and grabbed my keys. I ignored River as she screamed my name. I got in my car and drove down the road. Memories began to flood through my mind as I began to sob and let my tears roll down my cheeks freely. I knew he was too good to be true. I thought to myself. I came to an intersection and the light was red. I didn't care. I just pushed the peddle down farther as the cars engine roared. After that everything went blank and I became numb everywhere, mentally and physically.
