Back For You (A Louis Tomlinson FanFic)

Chapter~7

 As he made his way over to me a tear escaped his pulchritudinous,blue eye.

“What's wrong Lou?” I asked, my voice just above a whisper.

“I-I thought I lost you, Em...” he trailed as he began to sob lightly into my shoulder.

“I would never leave you like that, I don't think you would be able to handle it.” I said with a snicker.

“I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you, I'm the worst person ever. I should have never went out..I should have been here, with you.”

I had already forgotten about all the things I had seen on the news. I even totally forgotten I was mad at him at all. I was the one that felt like the terrible person for doing something so reckless and almost getting myself killed. The guilt hit me on what I had done, all the stress I had put my friends and family under and most of all Louis.

“It's okay Louis. It's all over now and I'm fine. All I want is you, I forgive you, none of that stuff matters to me, because I know the real you. The one that I fell for: charming, extremely handsome, not to mention hilarious, boy.” I reassured him. He took his head from the crook of my neck and starred into my eye as he whispered, “I love you.” and his lips met mine.

Sparks sent through my body just like the first time I had seen him. My good hand made its way to his hair and I hadn't even noticed the others had left the room. He always seemed to make all the pain and sorrow go away-in just this moment-it couldn't be more perfect.

“I love you too Louis.” I muttered and felt his lips curve into a smile under mine.

It's been a good while since my terrible, near-death experience, and I'm finally able to walk again after an agglomeration of physical therapy-finally able to function on my own. The boys have been on yet another tour for a while, with me accompanying them. We are now headed back to the place where it all began, just two short years ago, PNC Arena, Raleigh, NC.

I stand backstage just as I give Louis a good luck kiss and tell the boys to rock it like normal. I listen and watch in pure amazement as their beautiful voice sync in harmony. I hear Harry just as finishes up the last lyric began to speak, “Everybody, tonight this is a special show dedicated to our best friend Emma and we are going to be performing a new never-before-heard song written by our very own Louis Tomlinson, it's called 'Back For You'. Hope you all enjoy it.” this caught me by total surprise no one ever told me Louis wrote me a song and that the boys were going to do this! A tear slipped down my cheek as Louis' voice filled my ears, “This ones for you babe.”

The music sounded and the Liam's voice filled the arena soon followed by the others,

The music ended and the boys finished with a bow. They filled one by one back stage with Louis in the rear. He beamed as my tear-stained gaze met mine.

“What'd you think?” he asked as he grabbed my waist and pulled me into his warm embrace.

I really couldn't say anything...I was truly speechless.

“I love you.” I said as I passionately kissed him.

“I love you too.”

“So I have some time off and I was wondering if we could discuss some plans about how I'm going to spend it with you over dinner tonight?”

“Sure thing!”

“Great, and the lads are giving us some privacy so we'll be dinning alone.” he said with a slight laugh.

I giggled back, as I looked at the puppy dog face Harry was making behind him. “Maybe another time Haz.” I said and he smiled at me.

Me and Louis sat down and our waiter, Jake, had just brought us some wine and we began to talk about his time off and what we would do.

“We should go visit your family.” I implied.

“That's a fantastic idea, I'm sure they'd love seeing you again, Lottie hasn't stopped talking about you since you two met on the last tour.”

“Oh, Really?” I asked.

“Yeah, She also helped me with this.”

“Helped with what?” I asked as I furrowed my brow.

Louis got down on his knee next to my chair and took my hand in his, “Emma Faith Remington, I have loved you since we first met and admire the way you love me because, I of all people, know I'm not an easy person to put up with, but you've done it and you amaze me everytime. I want to spend the rest of my life with you ,so Emma will you marry me?”

My breath hitched in my throat and butterflies began to flutter my stomach, salty tears made their way down my rosy cheeks, “Yes, a million times yes.” I managed to make out. He beamed and pulled out a beautiful, shiny, sterling silver ring with a large diamond in the center with small ones around the edges complementing the one in the center. He slid the breath-taking object on my icy, cold finger and pulled me into him. He lifted me off of my feet and kissed me.
