As Joshua knocks on the door, he smiles at me gently before facing forward to see his mother. She looks at Joshua then at me before smiling brightly.

"Oh Joshua! You didn't tell me you brought your girlfriend!" She exclaims, her eyes turning into crescent moons. Joshua blushed and muttered,

"Mom~" I giggled. She smiles and gestures us in. She excused herself to get Joshua's father, Caelum.

"That was my mom, Hazel. I hope she didn't overwhelm you..." he says rubbing the back of his neck. I smiled and shook my head.

"Nope. She just feels like.... happiness." I said looking at the direction she went. He chuckles and leads me to the living room where his father was sitting.

"You must be the fallen angel that is fated to be with Joshua," he says. His eyes was a pale blue with only an outline of his irises.

"Yes, that is me. You must be the Seer that the angels were talking about," I said smiling. He laughs and nods.

"You know her dad?!" Joshua asks.

"She was the one that told me about my blindness and about her being mated to my only child. That was like a year before you came to this world, Joshua." Caelum says. Joshua looks at me in disbelief.

"I'm about four centuries old mind you." I say to Joshua's shocked face. His eyes widens.

"LUNCH IS READY!" I heard Hazel shout from the dining table. Caelum chuckles and leads us to the dining hall.

"The ability of echolocation is difficult to master. But it seems like you have mastered that skill Caelum" I pointed out to Caelum who clicked his tounge every now and then.

"That is true. But hey! I got a hang of it already." He laughs. Joshua chuckles at his father's behaviour as I smiled.

We entered the dining room and spotted Hazel preparing the dinner. "Ah there you are! Here, sit down. Hope you like beef!" She says laughing at my elated face.

"Oh. My. God. Yes of course!" I squealed as the whole table laughed at my enthusiasm.

After dinner~

"Thank you for the food Hazel! It was soooo good!" I exclaimed licking my lips. She giggles and shook her head.

"You can come anytime Mia!" She beams. I giggled and turned to Joshua who smiled at smiled at me with pride.

---

"Well that went really~ well." I breathed out, making Joshua laugh.

"You are a natural socializer Mia, you shouldn't worry!" Joshua says, patting my head affectionately.

"No I'm not!" I defended myself. He laughs and shook his head.

"Whatever makes you sleep well jagiya~" he sang, making me smack his arm. We laughed and chatted all the way to my house.

"So this is it!" he says and my smile falters, "is there any problem jagiya?" He asks.

"Well- um- uh-" my cheeks reddened at his observant comments.

"You can tell me," he says softly, staring into my eyes.

"I-I-uh-read this on a book. W-when a Fallen finds a mate," I breathed, "they can't be seperated. Since they have not seal their bond with a mark, their bond is vulnerable. Even a small seperation under 12 hours, can weaken their bond drastically." I said looking down.

"Do want to mark me jagiya, so I don't lose you?"
