He's back.
******
I was speechless.
'You're... you're back?'
'Hey.'
I felt my knee buckle hearing that missed voice of his after such a long time. The only other time I've heard this voice was when I saw him in my dreams... but now, it was right here.
'I-I have to go...'
I didn't waste any more time and just literally ran for the door without a proper goodbye. I didn't know what to say... seriously, what am I supposed to say in an unexpected time like this?
It wasn't until I arrived at my gate that I realised Yong Hwa didn't even go after me... he didn't even bother to do so. I mean, come on! At least ask me how I was doing or if I even missed him... just anything will do.
-
Friday came and I opened my eyes to realise it was daytime already. I didn't even get any sleep last night, thanks to someone coming back and the fact that he hadn't even come to talk to me yet. Why? I mean, at least explain to me why he hadn't contacted me for so long...
I realised I actually had class today but I couldn't be bothered thanks to the gloomy weather outside and of course, my stupid current feelings.
I spent the entire day pretty much wasting as much time as I could cleaning and packing around the house. I didn't want to admit it but I was kind of waiting for my phone to buzz and when it did, I just became more and more disappointed because it wasn't from... Yong Hwa.
It wasn't til about 6 that Jin came home from work and upon stepping inside, he immediately gave me a weird look.
'Yihyun invited us over for some dinner since... Yong Hwa is back,' said Jin, 'Do you want to go?'
'Yeah, of course. We can't say no to Yihyun.'
After my brother had a quick shower and got changed, we headed over to Yihyun's house. The entire time, Jin kept giving weird looks that I obviously knew the meaning to. I know he was just worried about my situation with Yong Hwa but I mean, we haven't even talked yet since he came back so what's there to worry about? Right?
I took a deep breath and walked into their house with Jin, who instantly went into the kitchen to help Yihyun. I took a look around and kind of guessed that Yong Hwa was in his room, based on the sounds of guitar strumming coming from that way.
'Oh no, I forgot to grab some garlic,' I heard Yihyun say, 'YONG HWA! CAN YOU GO BUY ME SOME GARLIC?'
I could feel my heart picking up the pace, knowing that Yong Hwa was going to appear anytime soon. I mean, I didn't get to say anything yesterday when I abruptly saw him at Jonghyun's house so what should I say today? What should I ask him?
And then he appeared. And I almost passed out.
The man that I've fallen so deeply in love with was standing right in there, staring at me with those eyes that I could never forget - not even in a million years.
The second I almost said something, he just suddenly walked right by me and towards his sister in the kitchen. Did he really have nothing to say to me? Was this some sort of joke before he surprises me with something big?
