Dean's POV
As we walked into the middle school, I didn't remove my arm from my brother's shoulders. We found the head office right inside the door and walked inside. As we stood there Sammy laid his head on my shoulder. I smiled down at him before squeezing him into a side hug.
"Hello, how can I help you?" the receptionist in front of us asked.
"Samuel Winchester, new student," I spoke nodding toward my little brother.
"Winchester, Samuel," she mumbled as she typed. "Ah! Yes!" She clicked a few times then I heard the sound of the printer. She pulled out the freshly printed paper. "Have a nice day Sam," she said, handing him the paper. He smiled slightly taking the paper from her.
"Thank you," I smiled before pulling Sam into a hug. We stayed there for a while, then I turned to leave but I was stopped by a hand on my wrist
"Dean," he spoke, his voice strained. I turned to look at him a pleading look in his eyes.
"I'll walk you to class but then I have to leave," I said. He nodded somewhat relieved. Honestly, I felt bad for leaving him because of his separation anxiety but he needed to go to class and so did I. Once we got to his home room he turned to me.
"Do you have to go?" he asked, his brown eyes watering ever so slightly.
"I have to get to school buddy," I answered running my hand through his hair.
"But, you'll be back right after ... right?" he asked, a hint of fear in his voice.
"Of course!" I answered. He turned to me and pulled me into a tight hug.
"I love you, Dean," he mumbled into my chest.
"I love you too, Sammy," I whispered into his hair. I pulled his head back a bit and kissed his forehead. "I gotta go," he nodded before turning and slowly walking into the class room.
I walked out of the middle school and back toward the high school. When I walked through the door, I saw a flash of purple before I hit the floor. I looked back up and saw a small girl with light purple hair still on her feet.
"Hey! Watch where you're-" she began but cut herself off when she turned and saw me, "you're new aren't you?" she asked placing her small hands on her waist, over her green, pink, and purple, leather jacket.
"Yeah, uh, is it really that obvious?" I asked beginning to sit up.
"No, I've just never seen you around before. We rarely ever have new kids," she explained. She reached her hand down to me, and I looked at it skeptically before taking it. Somehow she manage to pull me up for the ground with absolutely no help from me ... at all.
"What's your name?" She asked
"Dean," she raised an eyebrow, "Winchester! I'm, uh, Dean Winchester." she laughed
"Well Dean Winchester, I'm Bekka Nixx. Welcome to hell."
