Cas's POV

"Oh Cassieboo!" I heard from the other side of the hall. Once I turned to se who it was, all I saw was purple and immediately knew exactly who had called for me. I sighed and smiled reluctantly.

"Hey Beck," I mumbled. She scoffed at me.

"Who pissed in your Cheerios?" She asked sounding slightly agitated.

"What? No one. I just ... I'm fine." I turned and began to walk, expecting her to follow me. As I presumed, she followed, speaking loudly as she did so.

"Cassie, baby, I know when you're upset. Like now for example." She quickened her pace to catch up with me and slung an arm over my shoulder, "so what's up?"

I sighed, "I just realized that I will never ever find love as long as I live. Not as long as I live here that is. And, seeing as no Novak other than my father has ever left this place permanently while still living, I'm completely and utterly doomed." I spoke dramatically, leaning onto Beck's shoulder for extra dramatic affect.

"Well someone's in a great mood, aren't we little miss Drama Queen?" She giggled, "Anyway Deborah, what's got you thinking like this?" She asked, slinging her arm over my shoulder.

I sighed once again, looking at my feet, "The new kid... And any other crush I've ever had, and all of the other attractive guys in our school." I mumbled. Beck squeezed my shoulders.

"Awe cmon babe, cheer up. I bet we can find you someone. We don't even know that the new kid is straight. For all we know this could be your lucky day." She smiled at me, stopping in front of a door. "Okay, homeroom time, we will continue this conversation at lunch." She quickly stood on her toes and kissed my cheek before turning and walking into the class room.

I begin to make the short trip from that classroom to my locker. As I approach the Locker door I begin searching my pockets for the key. When I don't find It, I groan, turning in the opposite direction to head to the office. I pick up the pace, aware that my class was to start in a few minutes. I bursted through the door slightly out of breath and quietly walked up to the receptionist's desk.

"I ... Misplaced ... My key," I pushed out between deep breaths. I was blushing slightly of embarrassment but was also flushed from running. The man in front of me giggled  at my embarrassed state and opened up his desk.

"That's alright sweet heart, what's the number on your lock?" He asked, shuffling through the keys. I took a minute to catch my breath and then answered.

"I ... Two forty-four," I answered, the name causing me to blush more. The man pulled out my spare key and pushed it toward me.

"Here you go sugar, if you happen to find it, just let me know," he spoke flashing his attractive smile at me. I blushed.

"Thank you sir. I will make sure to inform you if I find it," I bit my lip and turned toward the door. I began walking until a voice stopped me.

"Castiel! What a coincidence you're here." I turned to see the principal walking out of her office with Dean, "this is Dean, he's new here, could you show him around?" She asked, pushing him toward me. I opened my mouth to protest but she cut me off, "Thank you Castiel I'll email your teachers to tell them you won't be coming today," she walked back into her office.

I looked at Dean and smiled softly, "well... It looks like I'll be showing you around," I looked at my feet, digging my right foot into the carpeted floor.

Dean chuckled and walked up to me, pinching the collar of my jacket between his thumb and index finger, tugging on it lightly as if to inspect it, "looks like it." He answered. He quickly dropped the hand that pinched my collar, locking eyes with me and smirking, "well I guess you have some showing around to do." He winked and then sauntered out the office.

My heart rate sped up and I followed him out of the room quickly. "I um ... C-can I see your schedule?" I asked him quietly.

He was stood in the center of the hallway with his hands in his pockets, staring down the the tiled stretch lined with closed doors. He looked almost like a model in the light of the dimly hall. He glanced over at me, "Hmm?" He asked before realizing what I said, "Oh um ... Yeah." He dug through his pocket and pulled out a slip of white paper.

I reached out and took it from him shyly, studying it. I nodded slowly, "Okay so you're in my homeroom, which is weird because Winchester... Novak," I shook my head, "Whatever." I continued reading, furrowing my eyebrows, "and you're in my ... Honors psychology..." I glanced up at him.

He shrugged, "I like psychology," he answered crossing his arms. I just nodded.

"Alright," I directed my attention back to his schedule, "Okay well homeroom is room 124 with Mr. Marcus, first period is Biology with Mr. Lee, room 240, second is business with Mrs. Sarah, room 118, third is history with Mr. Miller, room 230,fourth is  ... Choir?" I glanced up at him, "You sing?"

Dean bit his lip and looked down at his feet, "I um ... Yeah... I was kinda hoping you wouldn't see that..." he mumbled scratching the back of his neck.

I shook my head, "No, it's okay I'm in that class too ... And band actually... So we also have lunch together." I looked up at him, smiling, "Maybe we can sit together?" I asked shyly.

He looked up at me, his eyes lighting up, "Y-yeah sure... That'd be... Great." He cleared his throat, letting out a small chuckle.

"Great..." Cas said, biting his lip.
