When I noticed you...

When I noticed you for the first time

I thought you were just fine.

At first i didn't find you cute, as you were always mute.

Still, I don't know why,

but

I started to notice you.

Next year started,

things became complicated,

when I found your friend and my acquaintance

staring at me at times.

I ignored this stupid guy.

But then you started to notice me

I felt special, believe me!

But then what fell on my ears,

was what I could not bear.

As I found tears trickling down my eyes

& I realized,

this would be the last time that I'd be seeing you....

& the fact that we'd never meet again

had me shaken, totally...

I thought that ignoring you'd lessen my pain

but I regret now

Everytime I had neglected you....

Though I wanted to see you again,

I thought silently 'Please go away'

It was hard but I HAD to forget you,

for you were going away...

Sometimes when I was home alone, I cried a bit,

but that was it!

They say,'God makes you cry so that you can see everything with a clear view again'

But tell me why, even after crying so much, why can't I forget you...

Even though my heart aches,

knowing that I'll never ever see you again

I want to say to you,

SORRY and THANK YOU

both for various reasons......

I say with a smile.....but,

inside I cry,

regretting every moment, thinking-

why didn't I tell you before,

when I noticed you.
