"Shut the door!" I screamed at Gillian. "Do you have your phone?" She nodded her scared head.
I grabbed her iPhone from her hand and dialed 911.
"911, what's your emergency."
"There is someone in my house, they are watching us."
"What is your address?"
"384 Pine Ln. SE Seattle, Wash."
"We are on our way."
"What are we supposed to do?!"
"Just stay put in a room and we will be there in a couple of minuets."
"Thank you so much." I hung up.
I looked at Gillian, she was sitting there eyes wide, not talking.
"What's wrong, G?"
"What's... Wrong?! I'm sorry but did you not see him, the GUY IN YOUR HOUSE!?"
"You saw him?"
"Yes... And he was scary. Joe, do you know that this door won't stop him from hurting us?"
"He's probably gone now, he won't hurt us," I tricked myself into thinking.
Then, all of a sudden I heard a bang. And then another. I look at Gillian and see her lock the door as the banging continues.
"Yeah, he's so gone" she said glaring at me.
The banging stops and I hear sirens approaching. Finally!
Gillian's phone rings, she hands it to me. "Hello? I answer it."
"911, Where in the house are you?"
"The upstairs bathroom" I said relieved. I hung up to get another call on her phone.
"Hello?" I answered it.
"Next time don't call the police." A scratchy voice said over the phone, then they hung up.
Next time?
