My eyes fluttered open. I looked around, where was I? Then I remembered; the prank, the chloroform, Gillian. Gillian? Where was she?
I sat up in the bed I was laying in and my hands felt something smooth. I looked down and saw silk. I gazed around and my eyes fell on a mirror.
I looked at my reflection, my makeup from the previous day smudged on my face. I was wearing different clothes. I was wearing a silky white gown. It was obviously too big for me, the short sleeves falling off my shoulders. My hair was rats nest, it stood up in every direction. Overall, I looked like a doll, an ugly doll.
I walked around some until I found a bathroom. I freshened up a bit and decided to try to get out of this place.
So far it looked like an old abandoned bedroom. It was very large, but not in good shape. The sheets on the queen sized bed were all ripped and faded. The water barely worked in the bathroom. And the windows were all boarded up.
I walked towards a pair of double doors. I tried to turn the knob but it wouldn't budge. I was locked in like a prisoner.
All of a sudden I heard a door across the room open. A man in a hoodie stepped in.
"Oh good, you're awake." He had a plate of food that he set on the nightstand near the bed. It looked like he had brought soup and bread. Great, now I'm eating like a prisoner too...
"Why are you here? Where is Gillian?" I asked, scared.
"That's for me to know," he took large steps towards me. "And you to not find out." That sent a shiver down my spine. He was so close to me I felt it hard to breathe.
I slowly took steps away until I felt my back press against the wall. He continued to step towards me.
I was scared, like super scared. What was he doing? He walked one final step until our chests were touching.
He grabbed my head so I couldn't turn it. He kissed my forehead. What the hell?
Oh shit! I thought once reality kicked in. I thrashed my arms and legs trying to get away but he had me pressed up against the wall.
I screamed as loud as I could, hoping Gillian heard me, wherever she was.
The kidnapper put a hand on my thigh. "No, stop!" I yelled.
"Shut up, bitch!" He slapped my cheek.
I felt the sting of my cheek as the tears began to roll down my face. This can't be happening!
He was interrupted by Gillian standing in the doorway. G looked bad; she had bruises all over her, her gown (identical to mine) had a large gash in it, she looked like she had no strength at all.
The kidnapper let go if me and turned towards Gillian. He stomped up to her, "I thought I told you to stay put."
She looked at me, her eyes said to run. I looked around. The bathroom.
I ran as fast as I could into the bathroom. I locked the door and sat in the darkness. There was only one source of light, a small candle.
I listened closely and heard nothing. He must have gone somewhere with Gillian. Then I heard footsteps... They were getting louder.
Once they sounded like they were right outside the door they stopped.
I watched as I saw the door knob jiggle back and forth. Once he realized it was locked he stopped.
Then the scariest thing happened, the lock moved. I heard the click of the door unlocking. I watched by the dim candlelight, the handle starting turning ever so slowly.
I was in deep shit.
•well that's too bad... What do you think happened to Gillian?•
