After showering I stand in front of my closet. I don't know what to wear on a date. I've never gone on a date, no one's ever asked me out, only Chris has flirted with me. I'm nervous. I text Finn's friend Talor, asking what I should wear. She told me to wear something comfortable and not to worry if he likes it or not, if he doesn't, that's his problem.
I put on my overly large gray sweater with lighter gray and black strips(it used to be Dan's), black skinny jeans, and black converse. I put on some makeup and braid my hair.
"Chris is here!" Dad calls.
"Ok! I'll be right down!" I call back. I go downstairs and see Chris talking with Finn and Dad.
"You ready?" Chris asks.
"Yeah." I answer. This is my first date and it's with my best friend...

Chris and I laugh as we come to my front door.
"I had fun. Thanks, Chris." I smile.
"Maybe we could do it again sometime?" He asks.
"Of course." I answer. Chris leans down and kisses me, but then he pulls away.
"Good night, Ashley."
"Night, Chris."
