The vultures fly,
Above the city buried.
The children cry,
Their torture ever varied.
The vultures find the dead,
To make them disappear.
The children do the same with dread,
To make their workspace clear.
The fallen soldier
Gets up again to fight
And makes the children bolder,
And gives them hope for light.
They fight this beast of darkness bleak,
The fall of which they seek.
