Chapter 10 Felicity come to Central

Joe and Barry were talking at the CCPD precinct when Iris arrived.

"Coffee break! Thought I'd bring coffee to Central Cities finest." She said. Barry grinned and grabbed a cup from the tray.

Joe gave her a blunt look and patted Barry on the shoulder walking away. Iris slumped her shoulders and turned to Barry.

"My dad's been mad at me ever since I told him about me and Eddie." She said as they walked towards the Forensic lab.

"No, you mean he's mad at you for not telling him about you and Eddie." Barry corrected sipping his coffee.

"Uh, first that sounds like you're taking his side and second you know how he does this whole I'm not talking to you but I have a bag full of judgmental looks I'm going to try out on you later." Iris complained

"Yeah I've been on the receiving end of those a few times"

"Speaking of communication or lack there off, after all those journalism class I had an idea!" Iris said, changing the subject.

Barry nodded.

"I started a blog!"

"What's it about? If it's about your brownie obsession cause you know you really shouldn't broadcast that." Barry added.

Iris shook her head.

"No, something important, something that Central City needs to know about The Streak (The Flash)." Barry's happy expression turned into a worrying look.

"He stopped an armoured car earlier." Which was true. Barry was able to stop that armoured car earlier, but he didn't want Iris to write about it.

Barry didn't know what to say, he knew if he kept trying to argue he would lose.

They walked into the lab, only to find a particular blonde.

"Iris West." She introduced herself

"You must the IT girl Barry met in Starling, he told me about you. Unlike the other girl he didn't tell me about." She said glaring at Barry.

"Felicity Smoak. And I'm guessing the other girl is Kyra Queen?" Barry nodded and Felicity giggled a bit.

"Knock, knock." Said a familiar voice. The three turned around to see Kyra walk through the door.

"Hey Kyra" Barry said. Kyra's eyes widened at the sight of Felicity.

"Felicity, is my brother with you?" Kyra asked.

"No he had a meetings at Queen Consolidated." She said. Kyra laughed.

"Yeah cause my brother totally goes to meetings." She snickered.

"So why are you here?" Iris asked curiously.

"I was talking to Captain Sigh about the Policeman Ball because I am funding it this year and Barry wanted me to look at some of his lab equipment." She answered. Barry nodded and showed her to the storage room that homed most of it.

He came back to Iris and Felicity, not noticing that his eyes where still looking in Kyra's direction. But unfortunately for him, Iris had noticed.

"Ooo... Someone's got a crush!" She sing-songed. Barry blushed.

"No I don't." He denied his feelings but deep down, he did have growing feelings for Kyra.

Star Labs

"And this is where my team and I fight crime." Barry said as he and Felicity walked into the Cortex of Star Labs.

Cisco's jaw dropped at the sight of Felicity and Cisco being Cisco he pushed Caitlin out of the way to introduce himself.

"Cisco Ramon." He said walking up to Felicity. She laughed and introduced herself to Caitlin and Cisco.

"Barry should we be showing her the lab?" Caitlin asked.

"It's okay she works for the Arrow." Barry stated. Cisco's eyes widened.

"No way! You work the Arrow!" He was totally having a fan girl moment.

"Miss Smoak. It's nice to meet you." They turned around to see Dr Wells coming in.

"How did you know my name?" She asked.

"I always keep a look out for brilliant scientific minds. That was what lead me to find Caitlin, Cisco and Kyra." He clarified.

"Kyra?"

"She's part of the team since like 3 days ago." Caitlin said.

Jitters

Felicity was catching Kyra up with news from Starling, nothing to exciting expect for the Arrow. Barry came back with their coffee.

"Flat white with two sugars for Felicity and a Chai latte with soy milk for Kyra." He said, handing them their orders.

As Barry sat down, Iris walked over with a flyer.

"You guys have to team up with Eddie and me for trivia." Iris exclaimed quite excitedly.

"Yeah I'm in." Felicity and Barry both said. They turned to Kyra.

"I have a photo op with Vogue tomorrow, but I'll come after." She said. She was too busy observing the obvious chemistry between Barry and Felicity.

Was she jealous?
