"Glenda! Glenda! Mom says wake up!", Jhonny Said as he rocked his sister back and forth. "Breakfast is ready and she says its your first day of school so you better not be late", Glenda turned over and sat up inn bed and looked at her little brother with her tired eyes. "Alright alright tell her I'll be down soon" she rubbed his head which messed up his hair before her took off running out the room. Glenda stood up and looked outside. It was still kinda dark outside, but yo could tell that the sun was starting to rise. Glenda walked out her room and went into the bathroom to get ready for the day. When she got into the bathroom, it was foggy, she could tell her brother Junior had gotten in there before she did. She turned the water to lukewarm and quickly hopped in.

As Glenda approached the breakfast table Junior and Jhonny were already sitting there with spoons shoving food in their mouths. "Glenda sit down honey, I'll bring your food." Her mom spoke. Glenda nodded before taking a seat beside her brother Junior. "Why didn't you wake me up Junior?" She asked. "Not my problem, where's your alarm?" He looked her way before slowly raising a piece of toast to his mouth and taking a bite. "Be nice to your sister Keith." Their mom had butted in to save the day. As Glenda's plate arrive she started eating, she loved when her mom cooked breakfast it was always so good and fulfilling to her. After a few more minutes their mother, Meagan, started the car to take her children to school. "Let's go let's go, can't be late guys!" She yelled to them. Glenda, Keith, and Jhonny all walked out the house while grabbing their backpacks and got into their mother's van.

Arriving at school, Keith and Glenda got out of the car. "Have a good day guys!" Meagan shouted out of the car to them. Walking up to the school Glenda didn't know what to expect. She had no friends, all she had was her brother Keith by her side. You could say that she was a little nervous, because she didn't know what to expect. Glenda just hoped that all the students a would be cool and chill, she didn't want any trouble with anyone. Walking through the doors her and her brother looked around. The school was !such bigger than their last. There were lockers lined around the walls, and there was a staircase leading upstairs to more classrooms. Glenda took out her schedule as there first bell rang. "Looks like English for me" she sighed before turning to her brother. "I have band, see you at lunch, don't stress and have a good day" he put his hand on her shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile, before turning and rushing off to his class.

Glenda walked into the lunch room there were teenagers everywhere, looking around she spotted her brother sitting by himself. "Hey, how was class?" She smiled as she sat down. "Perfect, its gonna be really easy." he answered while taking a bite of his sandwich. "Well music has always been your thing so I hope so." The both laughed as Glenda took a bite of her sandwich. "Hey Glenda!" Zatch said as he walked up behind her. Glenda turned around as her brother Keith frowned seeing Zatch walk over. Zatch put his hands on the table as he looked toward Glenda's way. "Nice seeing you today. This must be your brother?" Glenda nodded as Zatch stuck his hand out to Keith. "What's up bro. Nice to meet you, i'm Zatch." Keith glared his way and didn't move a muscle. "Keith" he said sternly before taking a bite of his sandwich. Zatch gave a hesitant laugh and swung his hand that got left hanging through his hair. Glenda shot a glare at Keith before looking back to Zatch. "So hows your school day going?" Glenda asked Zatch. "Great, I have math after this so it might be a struggle." Zatch looked back to Glenda after his awkward encounter. Glenda looked at her schedule, "Nice! I have math also, rm 12B, Mr. Gomez?" The bell rang. "We have the same class! Let me walk you to class?" Zatch asked. Teenagers started putting their stuff away and leaving the cafeteria. Glenda picked her bag up and smiled "Yea sounds great" She threw her bag over her shoulder. "Bye Keith see you after school." she turned her back as her and Zatch began to walk. Zatch put his arm around her neck as they walked off the class. Keith saw this and shook his head as he picked up his bag and walked to class.

Walking out of class Zatch walked Glenda to her locker. "So whats the plans for after school?" He asked. "Well do some homework and I still have some things to unpack" Glenda answered him. "Maybe you can come to my game?" He asked sweetly with a big flirty smile. "Sure" She nodded to him before putting her math book into the locker. He was sweet to her, and she liked him for that. Turning back to Zatch, she noticed a blond girl walk past her with a group of friends glaring at them. Glenda looked her way and followed her eyes. "Who was that?" She asked concerned. "Oh, the blond? That's Shannon, and well she's my ex" Zatch answered hesitantly. Glenda looked at him, "Your ex?" Glenda asked while raising her eyebrow. She finally realized what the glares were about, she obviously thought something was going on. "Yea, she's definitely a handful. Don't even worry about her though." He tried to reassure her. Glenda started to walk to her next class. "I don't need any drama Zatch" Glenda said. "Look, it's fine she just has the wrong idea." Zatch continued to try to reassure her. "Yeah the totally wrong idea." Glenda shot at Zatch as she they arrived at her next class. Zatch scratched the back of his head slowly and looked at her. "See you after school?" He asked. "Yea sure", She turned from him and entered her class.
