Vampire. (Kihyun<MONSTA X>)

(A/N) Side story of my other story: "Black Cat's Angel and Demon". Kihyun's name there is Kiro. Momo's (Twice) name is Kei. I changed the plot a bit from the original story.

Kihyun's POV

     I was hunting for humans. I just lost a quarter of my life because of a heartbreak again. What can I do? She loves someone else. As I was hunting another human after my 10th meal, I smelt a different kind of blood. So I followed it. Until I saw a girl. My red eyes are glowing. Then she just sat there, fearless. "Don't hurt me, Kihyun." She said. "This won't hurt, I'll just get a little blood from you, that's it." I said. "You can't." She said. Then her eyes started glowing. Like mine, but hers are green. "Why are your eyes like that? Also, why do you know me?" I asked. "I'm a vampire, and also, I know you of course. You're the prince." She said, matter of factly. "You're a vampire too? Why are your eyes green though? How can you be here? I thought only me and Wonwoo are allowed here?" I asked. "I'm half vampire. Half human. I'm allowed here because my mate is here in this world." She said. "Do you know who?" I asked. "Of course." She said. "Who is it?" I asked. "You." She said. 

Momo's POV 

     "You." I said. Yes, my mate is Kihyun, the prince of vampires. I really don't know how it happened. It just did. "Me?" He asked, shocked. "Yes, you." I said. "How can that be possible?" He said. "I don't know. My reaction is just as epic as yours when I found out." I said. "We'll go back to our world." He said. "Why so sudden?" I asked. "Because I just lost a quarter of my life, again, then I find out that I have a mate?" He said. "You lost a quarter of your life? You just got heartbroken didn't you." I said. "I did." He said sadly. "Now, now. You don't want anyone to see that the prince of vampires get sad do you? Let's go." I said. Then, we went to the vampire world. 

Kihyun's POV

     "Eomma, how can this happen? How can I have a mate? I thought I can choose freely?" I asked. "Your sister was saved by her mother. So I decided to do that as thanks." She said. I was frustrated. "Do you think she wants this?" I asked my mother. "Her mother agreed." She said. Then, I grabbed Momo's hand then we went to my room.  "Do you even like what is happening?" I asked her. "Whatever, my mother decides everything in my life anyway." She said. I suddenly felt a little sad for her. then, I heard a loud thud. I saw Momo lying on the floor of the room. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "I am, just a little dizzy, Ki chan." She said, then closed her eyes. Ki? Only one person called me that.

*Flashback*

     "Ki chan! Let's play!" She said. "Okay." I said then we played all day. After we played, she handed an envelope to me. "Open that at the right time. Not now okay? Promise me." She said. "I will. I promise." I said. A day after, I went to her house. It was empty. Then, I remembered the letter she gave me. I rushed to my house then opened the letter. It said: "Dear Kihyun, sorry for leaving you. I understand if you can't forgive me. I just can't do anything. -Mo chan". That day, was the first time I lost a quarter of my life.

*Flashback end*

     "Mo chan...." I said. She's my first heartbreak. She's back. After a few hours, I fell asleep, lying on my arms beside the bed. I felt movement so I woke up. "You're awake?" I asked. She just nodded her head. I hugged her. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I asked. "I thought you hated me...." She said. "I waited for you. That's it. I never hated you." I said. "Still, sorry..." She said. "Don't be sorry." I said. "You know what? I have something to tell you." I said. "What is it?" She asked. "I think I regained the life I've lost." I said. "What do you mean?" She asked. I replied: "I love you."
