'February 14? Is there a day like that today? Isn't it February 15 today?' I thought to myself as I was strolling in the park. Couples everywhere. Doing sweet things, yuck. Kissing in public and everything. I walked to the secluded part of the park and just stayed there. Finally, some silence. I pulled out my earphones and played Hate by 4minute. I was listening to the music until someone tapped my shoulder. Its Jinhwan. Great. The kingka of our school and my long time crush (Since kindergarten). "Hm?" I asked. "You lonely?" He asked. "Nah." I said. "Come on. Let's go to a cafe. You do look lonely." He said. We went to the cafe. "What do you want?" He asked. "Java chip frappe and chocolate chip cookies." I said.
Jinhwan's POV
As I went to order, I kept staring at Aly. She's so beautiful. I liked her since we were kids. I still like her now. Many guys want to court her, but no one ever did. Why? Simply because of me. She's mine. "Sir. Your order is here." The staff said. I got our orders, then we got back to the park. "Got no date?" I asked her. "Isn't it obvious?" She said. Then we sat in awkward silence. After a few moments, I decided to speak up. "Aly, I'm gonna ask you a serious question." I started. "What is it?" She asked. "Do you like me?" I asked her. "Wh-why do you even ask a question like that?" She said. "Because I like you. Now, do you like me back?" I asked. "Yes." She said then stared at the ground. I lifted her chin. "Look at me." I said then she looked into my eyes. "Gosh, you're so beautiful." I said. She blushed. I kissed her. She blushed even more. She said: "I guess Valentine's Day wasn't too bad after all."
