Niall's POV;
I guided her into the kitchen holding her soft hand as we walked. Once we were in the kitchen, I grabbed her hips firmly, and lifted her to the counter top before I stole a kiss. She laughed, a little and pulled me to her again.
"Enjoying yourself?"
Natalie called from the doorway of the kitchen, pulling us out of the kiss.
"Yes, in fact, I am," I shot back.
Natalie glared at Audrey, and I glared Natalie. The room filled with tension.
"I apologize that you aren't happy, but I am, so I'd appreciate it if you left. Right now."
Natalie's eye brows squinted together as she turned to walk away.
"Now, where were we, princess? Omelet, or Parfait this morning?"
I smiled.
** AUDREY's POV**
'Niall is incredible.. He's sweet, he's understanding, protective, and... He loves me.. He truly loves me..' I wrote in my journal swiftly.
Niall and I had started staying at an apartment he had gotten for us. I missed the lake house, and Jacob, but Jacob had to go back with mom. He was getting 'bored', so I sent him back, I wouldn't have to worry about him either.. It's been a week since I've discovered all of this, and Niall is acting like a body guard, a best friend and a boyfriend.. In some ways. I'm still not completely sure of how I feel toward him, the day I remembered was perfection, we were happy and we laughed non-stop.
"Audrey? I'm home sweetheart!" He called from the kitchen.
I got off of the bed and walked toward the kitchen to be met half way.
"How's Natalie? She still mad?" I asked.
He looked at me slightly, and shook his head, as if it didn't matter.
"Niall, we need to talk about that.. She's like a mother to you. It's important, I don't want to come in between you two. The day I started working at Walls she was fine. She and I talked and laughed, and then I remembered. I don't get what's going on... Tell me?"
He pulled my body closer to his, and wrapped his arms around my waist. His scent went through my body like a cool breeze.
"Audrey, you would never drive us apart.. She's just angry because she doesn't want us together.. Even as friends.. She wants us to be just acquaintances, that's it..' He
whispered quietly in my ear.
I shook my head yes in understanding, nibbling on my lip for a moment, savoring the embrace. I pulled away, looking into his crystal blue orbs,
"Let's go to the farmers market, get some fruit and things, and then go to the park and have a pick-nick, yeah?"
"Hmm.. I get to have food, be in a gorgeous park, with a gorgeous girl, yes." He laughed.
"Let me go change clothes, and I'll meet you in the garage, Okay?"
He agreed, and we parted.
I put on a pair of denim shorts and a loose top, with a pair if RayBans and vans.
"Let's go get some strawberries, and kiwi and stuff." Niall said as he pulled me to a colorful stand.
We stood looking at the different fruits and vegetables, I glanced up, and saw him. Cole. He was at the market. And he had found Niall's car.
