Klack! That was the sound that woke her. She wanted to groan but she didn't. She instead tried to go back to sleep. It was always hard for her to fall asleep and she routinely lay awake for hours every night before her mind drifted off to a not-so-deep slumber.

She tried to keep her mind empty but thoughts kept rushing in; she had to do her laundry, she had a report to finish at work, she had to buy a gift for her sister's birthday, she had been meaning to get new curtains. They all rushed in, and not even the warmth of the bed could lull her back to sleep. Sighing, she sat up and threw back the covers. It was no use.

She went to the kitchen to warm some milk and honey. It was a sleep remedy her grandmother recommended to her often. She then turned on the TV and decided to binge on Netflix. She must have watched for three hours before sleep returned to her eyes. Yawning, she got up and returned to her bed. The only problem was, there was another her already asleep in it.

Petrified, she ran to her large closet and closed the door a little too hard. Klack! That was the sound it made when it closed.

'Shh! You'll wake her' a voice next to her said.

'How many more of us can fit in here?' said another.

She turned to see two more doppelgangers hiding in the closet.
