Trash

You can tell a lot about people just from their trash. For example, Mr. No. 17 had just been to Europe. Italy to be precise and he seemed to have taken a liking to the food there. Almost every day, he'd dry a new recipe, the failed attempts of which could be found in the trash.

Then there was Mr. & Mrs. No. 3. Mrs. No. 3 was pregnant though she didn't know it yet. She was eating a lot more and trying to hide the evidence because Mr. No. 3 didn't like fat women. Mr. No. 3 on the other hand was up to something fishy because he'd been shredding more documents than usual.

Mr. No. 10 was losing his hair and trying out every shampoo brand he could find, even the expensive ones.

...

Mr. No. 17 threw a house party; three men, two women showed up. The food was all Italian.

Mrs. No. 3 took a home pregnancy test. She knows now. She's told Mr. No. 3 and they celebrated with a nice meal.

Mr. No. 10 is trying imported shampoos.

...

Mr. No. 17 had another woman over at his place. I think she stayed the night.

I found two empty leaves of tablets in Mr. & Mrs. No. 3's trash. They weren't on any medication or I'd know. Someone took twenty tablets of something in just one week.

Mr. No. 10 is looking at toupees.

A woman is missing and there are lots of posters up with her picture on it.

Mr. No. 17 still has his lady friend over. I think things got a bit heated last night because I found a large chunk of woman's hair in the trash.

Mrs. No. 3 lost the baby. She's very upset and crying. Mr. No. 3 has filed for divorce.

Mr. No. 10 received his new toupee in the mail today.

Update:

It seems quite a few readers don't get this one. That's on me. This was my first ever attempt at writing short stories and I had to keep them under 500 words. With this one, I'm adding a brief explanation. 

This basically explains the occurrences of three different houses as observed by the garbage collector. 

Mr. No 17 kills one of his female guests. The chunks of hair in his trash are from the struggle. 

Mr. and Mrs. No 3 are in a bad marriage with the husband intending to file for divorce. An unplanned pregnancy occurs hence the 'tablets' found in the trash. He slips his wife a few tablets and she miscarries. The shredded remains of some documents are found in his trash.

Mr. No 10 is genuinely going bald.
