Chapter 4

x- Nathan -x

It was all a blur really, the door smashing open and suddenly a head of curls attacking Matthew and the next thing I know I'm sitting in my kitchen with Jay's hand attending my pounding jaw.

"Your lucky it isn't broken Nathan. looks like he hit you real hard"

"Where's Jess and Tom?"

Jay looked up from under his curls, bright blue eyes gently appearing through the gaps as he sighed. He took of some latex gloves thast he had got from god knows where are chucked them on the side before putting them under the sink.

"The lounge with Siva, they were starving when we offered them some food. Nathan you really live in a shit hole, no offence"

"None taken"

I lied, I had actually taken massive of offence at that! Me and Jess were so lucky we had met Tom who had managed to get us this place but then again, Jay doesnt understand. If he knew he would understand.... I think.

"Well anyway, I've decided that you and Jess are gonna come stay with me whislt Tom stays with Max and t-"

My blood began to boil with anger and my heart began to thump in rage, how dare he treat us like we were homeless. I don't need pity, only the weak need pity and I promise myself I will never be weak and that is the way its staying.

"We are not a charity case!"

"I didn't mean it like that, I was trying to h-"

"No! I am so sick of this, being treated like I'm someone who needs sympathy! I don't need sympathy"

"Nathan!"

He grabbed my shoulders and shook me slightly, a small and rather childish grin playing on his light pink lips.

"I'm not saying your a charity case, I'm trying to be friendly and if you don't want to come and stay then you don't have to, its only until you three get back on your feet. Give it a try?"

I thought about it for a couple of seconds, it couldn't be to bad I guess. We would have heating, food and water and a safe place to stay and he saying it as a friend. Jay thought of me as a one of his friends.

"Fine I'll go but don't expect me to enjoy it"

*TIME SKIP, JAY'S FLAT*

The walls were soft burgandy red and there was a small fireplace in the far middle of the room, the lighting was soft and there was 2 tanned sofa's on the lighter red carpet. It was.................. Cosy, I liked it.

A girl sat on one of the sofas under a tarten blanket with a mug of coffee in her hands, starring at a tv screen. She mildly ressembled Jay, the hair colour and the beautiful brown eyes, she would have been just my type.

"Nathan and Jess, this is Eleanor, Eleanor this is Nathan and Jess"

"Hello"

She smiled and waved politely, the Nottingham accent was so much softer and flowing than the Gloucster one, I loved it.

We explored the rest of the apartment for the next half an hour or so, it was big but not too big and with a cosy interior desing. Luckily there were two spare rooms going which meant me and Jess got our own space. My room was lovely, deep purple walls with a good sized double bed and a few chests of draws, it was very ncie.

"And this Nathan will be your room"

"Wow Jay, this is lovely"

"It was nothing, enjoy your rest"

With that he disspapeared and left me alone to realise how actually very tall he was, compared to him he made me look like a short seven year old!

I went back into the lounge as Eleanor grinned at me, her tired and sleepy blue eyes looking me up and down as I sat next to her.

"What are you grinning at?"

"Nathan's good looking isn't he"

Pausing, I gave her a confused look I'm a guy and she was expecting me to pass comment on how goodlooking another guy. Although I must admit, I do think Nathan is a rather good looking boy if I'm truthful.

"He's alright, I guess"

"Yeah sure......."

Sisters, honestly I never actuaally understand waht are going on in their brains, that's if El actaully has one.....
