They ask me why I never smile

I say that smiling wasn't my thing

Now matter how many times you smile,

what would it ever bring?

My smile turned to a boat sailing on a river of tears

I had lost the battle against my fears

I couldn't drink from the happiness beers

Couldn't smile and yell cheers

They asked me why I wont smile

But if i told, It wouldn't be worth their while

But if you ask me why I don't smile

The answer is imple; he was my smile
