Grades Shouldn't Define

How smart someone is,

What that person will become and

How well they behave

Grades shouldn't define anyone

Why you may ask?

Because school is a never ending task

For six hours or more we listen and write

and teachers expect us to do homework all night

But get mad when we ask for assistance

And from bullies they they do nothing when they come in the distance

Grades shouldn't define me

You ask for help and get none, and teachers get mad when homework isn't done

Then complain about grading so many papers

And the ones that don't are probably fakers

They always pick fun at the risk takers

But if you ask me, I probably wouldn't care

as long as when I'm late the teacher wont stare

Grades shouldn't define anything

Because character is more than letters on paper

If you don't believe me

you probably will later
