ABELLA'S POV
I hadn't been on a date in a long time.
I really didn't know what to expect. The little amount of clothes I had here were nothing date worthy. I thumbled with the blue jeans and button up top that had become my favorite outfit. It would have to do, I had no other choice in what to wear.
"What you doing?" Celsey sang in a sing-song voice. I turned around to face her still holding up the outfit.
"Nothing" I say quickly dropping the outfit.
"You're being weird! What's going on?" she asks crossing her arms over her chest. From the position I can tell she isn't going to give up anytime soon.
"Your brother asked me on a date" I say looking away from her.
"Caden? Eww did you tell him no!"
"Not Caden! Colby!"
"Good for a minute there you had me worried!" she says. "So he finally worked up the courage huh?"
"Ummm"
"Never mind we need to find you something to wear. Come with me!" she rushes from the room and I struggle to keep up with her.
We make our way down the hall towards her bedroom. I am immediately shocked that her room could be so messy. Since the last time I was in here it was spotless. She ignores the mess and walks through a pathway between the clothes towards her wardrobe.
"You can sit on the bed if you want" she states. I look around and attempt to find the bed through the hovel. Locating it pretty much from memory of where it was last time, I carefully step over the piles of stuff that covers the floor.
"What are you doing?" I ask as I watch her kick clothes away from the bottom of the wardrobe as she attempts to open the large doors.
"Finding you something to wear silly."
"You have already given me so much of your stuff, Celsey. I don't need or want anymore"
"I gave you six tops and two pairs of jeans, Bell" she said flatly. She continued digging her way into the wardrobe and starts chucking random items out onto the floor behind her.
"Fine" I state. I gaze around her room while I wait and find it hard to imagine living like she does. I can't even see the carpet through the amount of clothes she has on her floor.
"Ah hah! Perfect" she says as she emerges from behind the mountain of clothes she has created. In her hands is a beautiful summer dress with different shades of purple flowers. She walks over and shoves it into my hands. "I have never worn it, it is yours if you want it"
"Are you sure? It's so nice."
"Yeah Abella, take it"
"Thank you"
"You are welcome," she says. "now, shoes!"
After what feels like a year of Celsey showing every single pair of shoes she owns, I depart her room with a arm full of clothes and two pairs of shoes that Celsey claims I could keep.
"Abella!" A voice shouts from a distance. I stop walking and see Remington coming towards me. I squeeze the clothes tight against my chest. My whole body tenses against my will at the sound of a male voice shouting my name. All though I am comfortable around Colby, I still am getting used to being around other men.
