"Oi! Santa! A word of advice: if you're attacking a man with a sonic screwdriver," The Doctor stopped,"don't let him near the sound system!

There was a squealing noise as Whitney and The Doctor starred at the T.V. She was sorta cuddled up beside him.

"This is Brilliant, they've been stalking me of corse, but they know about my life and made a show of it."

Whitney smiled and looked at him.

"It's pretty wonderful," she giggled,"your life, it must be so outstanding."

"It's not," he sighed running his hand through his hair.

Whitney rolled over and stopped it. She looked at him, giving him all her attenchen. She placed a hand on his forearm.

"It's so lonely, all my companions leave, get lost, or forget."

"I-I'm so sorry Doctor," she wanted to cry for him. It must have been the worst life anyone had. The last of his kind. All alone.

"No I'm sorry, I always find a mate, and they leave me."

"If you'd like, I won't leave you," she smiled as he looked at her.

"That's what they all say at first, then they leave," he looked away down at the floor.

"Well, I wouldn't, where would I go? My parents are barley even home, my fr- ya my friends don't wanna be near me a lot."

He knew she was lying. Right through her teeth about the friends part. Friends don't beat you up and call you mean names, like they did. Only thinking about her life made him want to cry much more. He had to be strong. For her sake of course. He instantly reached over her and pressed the play button. He didn't wanna talk much more about how sad their lives were.

She, like The Doctor, didn't really wanna talk cause the subject made it awkward between them both. She lied her head on his shoulder. He let her head lie there as they watched the rest of the episode. She sighed.

"Would you wish for me to fix us something? Or do you want to watch the rest of the season?" She asked.

"We could eat, if I could help you."

"I could make it."

"Are you sure? I don't want you to make it by yourself."

"I'll be fine," she smiled.

He couldn't help but smile back. She just had that smile that if you saw it you couldn't help but smile back. She got up and walked to the kitchen. He sighed and rubbed his eyes.

"Hey where's your little pooch at?"

"Rolo?" She asked.

"Ya, where would he be?" He asked.

"Most likely in my room," she called from the kitchen,"want me to get him?"

"Nah, I'll go get him."

He made his way upstairs before she could say no. He went to her room and found the brief case. He noticed the padlock on it. He pulled out his sonic and tried opening it. Rolo sat next to The Doctor. Twisting its head. He tried opening it. Nothing.

"Oh come on!" He said as he dropped it on the floor.

"Doctor?" Whitney called,"are you ok?"

"Erm, ya Moto Bene!"

"Ok," she called as she went back to cooking. She knew he wasn't only looking for the dog. She only wondered what he was doing. The sonic pulsing was easy to hear. She sighed. She'd ask him about that later.

As for the Doctor, he scrummaged trough more of her stuff looking for clues. He tried again and again to open the case, but it wouldn't budge. He sighed. He got up pushed the case under the bed and walked to the living room, fallowed by Rolo. He clinched his fists and ruffled his ham threw his hair.

"This don't make since!" He mumbled to himself,"the Sonic opens everything! Why isn't it opening the case?"

He put on his glasses and pulled out his Sonic. He examined it.

"Why won't you work?" He asked. Rolo lied his head down on The Doctors knee.

"Doctor!" Whitney called."

"Yes Whitney?" He asked.

"Do you wish to eat while watching T.V.?" she asked.

He smirked,"that's brilliant, of course!" He said still looking at his Sonic. He didn't really hear what Whitney said but he was just saying something random to her. He was still puzzling over his Sonic. Why wouldn't it work?

Why not to open the case? It opened anything but wood... Wood. It had to've been something with wood. He silently made his way back upstairs and pulled out the brief case.

"Any wood?" He asked himself,"yes? No? Fine I'll break into it myself!"

He got up and stepped on it a few times. Then noticed.

"The inside is made of wood...has to," he said knocking on it.

"Doctor!?" Whitney called,"dinners almost done!"

"Um, alright! Be there in a minute," he put on his glasses. He observed it and slid it back under her bed. He walked downstairs as she smiled.

"So, I didn't know what you'd like to eat, so I made macaroni and cheese, then I made some salads, and some fruit on the side."

"Health dinner!" He smiled,"brilliant!"

"Well then lets eat!" She picked up two plates and sat them down in the living room. He sat there eating as she bowed her head and began to whisper something. The Doctor didn't pay attenchen but just watched the Telly. Soon he was too. Watching Smith and Jones.
