Thank @BounciestSnow For the lovely Picture. I like it a lot. Thank. And yes. I mean Thank, not thanks.
Bea's POV"I'll figure it out sooner or later. Whether, you and her like it or not!" Jessica yelled slamming the door and walking away from Nates car.
"Jessie wait!" Nate called over him. Once he realized she wasn't coming back he began walking to Justin and I.
"What's wrong with her this time?" Justin asked curiously.
Nate scratched the back of his neck. He's nervous and about to lie. He always did the same thing. Ever since we were younger.
"Nothing important," he said looking at me. "What was so funny that had you both laughing?" He asked quickly changing the subject.
"Oh that. I asked Bea what was her favorite animal. She said a flamingo. I asked her why..."
As Justin began to talk, I saw a black car slowly drive by the school. A familiar black car. It almost looked like...
I dropped to the ground. Scared that it was too late. "What's wrong?" Nate followed me to the ground in seconds. "Look at me, what's wrong?"
'Never speak to that boy again..."
My dads words ran through my mind. "Hey Bea, you okay?" I looked at Justin's concerned face.
"I think that's my dads car."
Nate and Justin both got up and caught quick glances at the vehicle. "Okay they're gone," Justin said smiling down at me. He offered me his hand and I gladly took it.
I looked towards Nate, thinking of all the fun we had had today. My parents words echoed through my mind continuously. I've never disobeyed them before, at least when Nate wasn't in the equation.
In the distance the school bell rang. "Thanks for everything today. But it can never happen again," I told Nate.
I can't live with the risk of my parents figuring out I've been disobeying them. What have they ever done to me to deserve that? They love me. I know they do.
"Bea, you..."
My phone began to ring and my moms name popped up on callers id. "Hello."
"Go pick up Henry. I'm going to get my hair done," then she hanged up.
My mom was naturally a blonde with green eyes, but she continuously dyed her hair brunette. And wore normal brown contacts.
"I remember how beautiful my hair was. Now I have to die it brown because of you."
I never understood what she meant when she said that, but when the months were coming by and you could see her blonde roots she'd go dye it brown again. "I have to go," I opened my car door and jumped in.
"Bye Bea!" Justin said waving his hand enthusiastically. Nate looked at me as if he could smash a wall.
I hated to do this. I never liked disappointing people. Somehow I felt like I was disappointing him. It wasn't my intentions, but it was his words against my parents. And my parents always kept their words. Good or bad.
Henry attended a school very far from mine. Five miles, if you want to be exact. Henry was always the favorite, even before he was born.
My dad and mom loved him with all their heart. Me too, of course. No one couldn't not like Henry. He was in one word: perfect. At least that's what my dad called him.
