Waluigi's POV:

Urgh, morning again. I was awaken of the sun that shunt through the window. As I sat on my side of the bed, I would gaze on (y/n). She was still sleeping. So peaceful (y/n) looked. I wonder what she is dreaming about. Ever since we met, I've always thought there was something special about (y/n). Her smile, her beautiful (e/c) eyes, her (h/l) (h/c) hair, her personality and what does she see in me? I'm just like anyone else and not famous at all. Wah, I stood and headed to the kitchen with this question of mine. Why me? I don't look like Luigi or am as good as Mario. I let out a sigh over this. Maybe I just got excited yesterday...

Your POV:

I heard footsteps in the distance, that really didn't fit into the picture at my favorite place. When I opened my eyes, I noticed that the morning had arrived already for a long time ago. At least I feel more recovered from the previous events... But, hold on, is Waluigi up this early? As I turned to my left, he was nowhere to be seen. He was probably in the kitchen, because those footsteps from earlier couldn't been from someone else, right? When I got up, I heard him sigh. Did he have a bad dream too? Oh boy, I still can't believe I'm here at a time like this. My family must really be worried about me...

You went into the kitchen and saw Waluigi sitting on a chair, frowning. When he rose his head to search eye contact with you, a soft smile appeared on his lips.

"Good morning, (y/n)."

You responded with a warm smile.

"Good morning, Waluigi." You said and walked to the table he was sitting at and sat down on a chair.

For some reason, the two of you didn't take the courage to speak for some seconds. Suddenly, Waluigi broke the awkward silence.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked.

Oh boy, you were expecting him to ask that certain question. You twitched a bit and rubbed the back of your head nervously.

"I, I slept well!" You said and already felt bad for not telling more.

Waluigi noticed your expressions and rose an eyebrow.

"Really? Because you look like you've had a nightmare." He said and gazed with worried eyes at you.

"I... Yes, I had a nightmare..." You said quietly and looked down.

"Tell me, I just don't want anything bad to happen to you." He said and reached out his hand to offer you to hold it.

You returned your gaze on him and slowly let your hand grab his.

"You see, it started with me being trapped in a fire..." You said and started to retell the story again.

Every now and then, Waluigi would look surprised, chocked, angry, sad, it was a mix of emotions as you told about what happened.

When you finished, Waluigi would stand up and fist his hand.

"(Y/n)... Bowser is nothing but a cruel bastard..."

"Yeah, but I don't get it, why did it happen? We have just met and I don't feel like there's something wrong with our relationship, I maybe just am-"

Before you could end your sentence, a pair of lips met yours. You blushed a lot over this, but returned the favor, even if the kiss was a rather quick one.

"... Not used to it..." You said and made a small smile.

Waluigi on the other hand had a rather serious look.

"(Y/n), we might not know each other quite well, but look at us, we are already in a closer relationship than what the most people I know got. If you are willing, then I want to try too. So, would you like to continue?" He asked and tilted his head slightly.

"Yes, Waluigi, I really want to." You said and hugged him.

Waluigi hugged back and smiled warmly. Then, to your surprise, you would hear knocks coming from the door.

"I'll get it." Waluigi said and headed to the door.

He peeked into the peephole and would see a gang of Koopas.

Waluigi opened the door and glared at them.

"What do you want?"

"We would like to offer you our newest invention!" A Paratroopa said.

"It's useful for someone as good at racing as you." A Koopa said.

Meanwhile, you went to the balcony and watched the scenery. Houses, houses and hills. What a combo, you thought.

"How come we meet at rather unusual places without your "boyfriend" seeing it?" A cold and a dark familiar voice spoke.

When you turned around, you could see Wario standing on the top of the roof. You gasped and looked on Waluigi, who happened to still be at the door.

'Great...' You thought and looked on Wario, who was nowhere to be seen.

"I'm right here, you know." He said and was now in some hot air balloon.

"What the hell do you want?" You shouted, hoping for you dearest to hear you.

For once, he did. That conversation he had with the Koopas ended quickly.

"Wah? Wario? What are you doing here?" He said and hold you close to him.

"Just having a chitchat with you girlfriend, of course!" Wario said with sarcasm in his tone.

"I don't like it a single bit..." You muttered and buried your face in Waluigi's chest.

Waluigi glared at Wario.

"I've heard what you have done to my darling here and I am really disappointed. You know we both were raised to not-"

"Treat women unfairly. I am aware, but this girl made me lose yesterday and it really pissed me off!" Wario snapped and glared at the purple plumber.

"And you wanted to kiss me..." You said and glared at Wario, who made an expression with disappointment in a few seconds.

"Whatever! I'm going to make you lose today Waluigi! You can make sure of that!"

"By eating garbage and garlic? I would really like to see you try." Waluigi said and gazed on you.

"Hey, HEY! Don't walk away just yet! I have one more thing to say! You are foolish!" Wario said and laughed to himself and went of in his air balloon.

"What a loser." You said.

"Definitely." Waluigi added.

"But he was right about one thing. The last race, we have to get there soon, Walu!"

"Calm down, there is still some time left... WAAH!"

"Is it for real now?" You asked.

"Yes! Come on, we have to get there as quickly as possible!" Waluigi exclaimed and took your hand to rush outside, but you halted.

"Hold on, I'm still in my pajamas!"

"Oh, sorry, but don't waste any time, okay? I'll wait for you at the entrance." He said and smiled at you.

"Go ahead, I'll be there soon." You said and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

Waluigi blushed softly and smiled as he walked out of the door.

Eventually, you were in the clothes you had on yesterday.

Soon, the both of you were off again.
