*Beep Beep Beep*
I hit my alarm reading the time, 7:00A.M. I rolled out of bed letting my black hair fall to my waist. Today was the first day at my new school since my dad got promoted with his job and we had to move several states down. I walked out my room and to the bathroom door. Steam came from under the bottom telling me my brother was in the shower. I banged on the door " Nick..really! Hurry up!"
I walked back into my room picking out something decent to wear for the first day of school. I opened my closet and pulled out a pair of jeans, pink T-shirt and a sweater. I can already tell today was going to be a bad day. I'm anti sociable and get horrible anxiety. I don't make friends easily. I herd the bathroom door squeak open. I put my clothes on top of my bed, then walked out my room into the bathroom.
"Don't worry I left you 'some' hot water" Nick ruffled my hair walking out the bathroom.
Nick was my annoying older brother. I know he was excited about school since he makes friends super easy and girls always think he's so hot. I slammed the door shut and locked it turning to the shower and turning on the hot water. I stripped my clothes off and stepped into the water.
After my cold shower I went back into my room putting on my clothes and curling my hair. No need to try and look pretty. Not like i'm looking for a boyfriend or should I say mate. Being a werewolf also makes it hard to find friends since there isn't many werewolfs who go to normal schools. My parents said it was best for me and my brothers to interact with humans since they want us to have a normal high school experience. Well mom and dad that's harder than it seems.
I walked down the stairs grabbing my backpack off the couch. I made my way into the kitchen to find my brothers stalking someone out the window.
"Who are you guys looking at?" I asked grabbing a frozen waffle and shoving it in the toaster.
"Theres a super hot chick who lives across the street" James said smirking back at me.
Nick and James were twins and at times it was really hard to tell them apart. The only small difference between them was their tan. Nick wasn't as tan as James. Other than that I have no idea who's speaking to me half the time. My mother can tell them apart just by hearing them talk.
My waffle popped up and I grabbed it out the toaster burning my finger and dropping it on the counter. I picked it up and folded it grabbing the mustard and squeezing it on the waffle. I know i'm weird but it actually taste good to me. I finished eating it and grabbed my backpack walking for the front door "Nick..James! Can we please go now. I don't like being late, especially on the my first day at a new school and my first day at high school" I yelled annoyed.
Nick ruffled my hair again and pushed me out the door in front of him and James. I walked over to my brothers new Hummer and climbed inside. I put my seat belt on and pulled out my cell phone. I went to my apps and began to play Subway Surfer while I listened to my brothers talking about girls.
After about ten minutes we finally arrived at the school. It was crowded with people all over the parking lot. No werewolfs..great. Nick turned around to face me and put his hand on my knee "If something happens text me okay?" He gave me a concerned look.
I nodded at him. I loved James and Nick the same but Nick has always had a more understanding side than James. He knows my situation better. James parked and I put my hand on the door handle shaking a little. I was nervous about the people. I didn't want them to even look at me but I know I had to get through this. Maybe this school won't be so bad.
I opened my door and got out shutting the door back and throwing my green backpack over my shoulder. I put my hoodie over my head and walked for the main office. Once I got inside there was no students, just the girl behind the desk.
"Can I help you?" She asked not looking up from her computer. I walked over to where she was and before I could speak she pointed at my hood "Hood off when you're inside" I pushed my hood off my head "I'm new this year and I need my schedule please."
"Name?" She sounded annoyed.
"Stormy Renie" I started to bite my nails and move back and forth nervous.
She typed in some information and began to print my schedule. Once it was done she got up and walked over to the printer and walked back over to me.
"You will have six classes and forty-five minutes for lunch. Now since you're only fifteen you may not leave campus for lunch. You must go to the lunch room. Your locker combination is at the bottom of this paper along with your locker number. If you have anymore questions you can come back up here. Have a good day sweetie" She smiled and walked back into the office room.
"Thanks.." I whispered. I began to walk to my first class in Building C. I had algebra first thing in the morning...What a joy. When I reached the door I opened it and made eye contact with the teacher who had already started class. My heart began to beat fast as everyone was looking at me. I just wanted to curl up into a little ball and hide.
"Are you going to stand there or take a seat?" My teacher asked making the class laugh.
I walked over to the only seat left and sat my backpack on the ground. Everyone was still staring at me making me feel sick. I looked down at my desk.
"Now class i'm Mr.Bowen. This class will be easy if you-"
Something caught the corner of my eye out the window. A boy in a red shirt was staring into the window from the other side of the school yard. Was he looking in here? At..me? I looked back down at my desk and then back out the window. He was still staring. Maybe he was just looking for a friend in here. I looked at him a little longer. I was starting to get creeped out when the teacher called me back to myself "Stormy? It's your turn." He waited and the whole class looked at me.
"Um..what?" I asked embarrassed and looked out the window again and the boy was gone.
"Tell us where you came from and your favorite thing to do during your free time." Mr.Bowen looked out the window trying to figure out what I was looking at.
"Oh umm.. I came from South Carolina and I like to watch movies during my free time.." I answered watching the window.
"Interesting. Mark your turn" Mr.Bowen continued on with class.
The rest of the class consisted of learning about each other and getting a bunch of papers to be signed and returned tomorrow.
Once the bell rung I waited for mostly everyone to get up and leave before trying to walk out the door. Since we got math books already I decided to go find my locker and put my book up. I got into the locker hallway that was filled with people. I walked around people looking for the locker 224.
I followed the locker numbers, 230,229,228,227,226,225..224. I looked down at my locker which was a bottom locker. As I was trying to unlock it a guy walked over near me. I was assuming his locker was above mine. I turned around and my eyes got wide when I saw it was the guy in the red shirt. He had bright green eyes like me and his hair was long and shaggy. It was also black like mine. He was very tall and seemed to have an awesome body.
"No need to rush. I'm in no hurry" He smiled down at me. My heart began to beat rapdily as I sniffed the air. I turned around and looked at him again..He was a werewolf and he knew I was one. I opened my locker and threw my math book in it and slammed it shut back. I stood up and turned around. I was about to walk away when he spoke "I'm Patrick" He smiled at me.
"I'm Stormy.." I looked down at the ground.
"I know" He smiled " And might I say, you're very beautiful" He smirked at me.
