Ella's POV
I stared, mortified at the ghastly thing floating around in the love-hate cage. Who the hell was that? Was it even a who?!
Ella, I'm still freezing down here. The frozen girl's voice in my mind was still kinda creepy. I shivered silently from coldness and fear that the Evil Princess might come any moment. What would she do to be if she found me here? I spotted a classroom sign. I walked over to get it but dropped it on the floor. I picked it up. It read: Principal's office.
What? That didn't make sense. Where was the principal? I turned it over. It wrote: Evil Princess's place. Stay out or else.
Well, I kinda just found myself here so that doesn't apply to me. I smiled. 

Just I heard footsteps, heavy ones and light high heels. I froze. I had no time to run to the desk and hide there. I just stood next to the wall and hoped she wouldn't notice me. I suddenly realized that my view was changing, from the Evil Princess's place to frozen girl. Ella, this is Aqua. Think of the Evil Princess's place will stop changing your vision.
But wouldn't she see me? I wondered. Stop hesitating, Ella. Just do it. I focused on the place and thought of the desk, the sign and the love-hate cage. My vision stopped changing and at once, I saw the oh so familiar desk but everything else, let's just say that it changed greatly. Evil Princess was holding the sign and saying: "I wonder who was inhere?" I shivered silently again. Just then, the Evil Princess walked towards me. Had she seen me?

Ella, imagine yourself invisible. I tried to focus but failed so hard it was scary.
Focus, Ella. I'm depending on you to succeed. Come on, you can do it.
The pressure from Aqua made it even harder to focus. Just then, my vision started changing again. Not now, I told myself. Focus, there is someone depending on you. I freaked out. How was possible to focus on two things at the same time?! 

In my fear is, I hadn't realized some changes. For example, someone new was in the love-hate cage or that I had turned invisible in my fright. Good job, Ella, you are now invisible. Now stop your vision changing. Once again, I focused on the love-hate cage, on the principal's ex-desk and on the sign. My vision steadied and I could soon make out the new figure in the love-hate cage. A Guardian?! 

Mental Chat between Ella and Aqua

Aqua is going to the slanted font. (Oops, forgot what it was called, it started with a I...someone remind me!)

Aqua, there's a Guardian in a love-hate cage. 

What?! Ella, seriously. 

I'm being serious. 

Where is he?

In the cage, duh. 

I meant where is the cage. 

In the Evil Princess's Palace. 

OMG. Just OMG. Ella, what on earth are you doing there?

Chill, Aqua. 

I ain't need to chill. I'm frozen remember?

Can't you call Ashley to melt the ice?

No, she helping Stella to fight the Evil Princess remember?

No, you idiotic person, the Evil Princess is in her Palace. 

You mean the principal's office. 

Same thing. 

OK. 

Can you look around and see Ashley or Stella?

No, you idiotic person, I'm frozen remember?

*sigh*

Why don't you look?

Hmm, I don't know. Because I'm watching the Guardian in the love-hate cage?

He doesn't need watching. The Evil Princess can do that just fine. 

I mean seriously, would it be best if we could keep an eye on him?

Be best if, not must. This situation is not easy. 

Fine.

Ella's POV

I focused on the frozen Aqua. My vision started changing. Suddenly, I felt the cold, crisp air. I had did it! Almost anyone would have thought her dead but I knew better than that. Go and find Ashley. OK. Turning away from Aqua, I looked down the hallways. 

I saw Frost. 

A/N: This chapter has been edited so Ella sees Frost instead of leaving immediately. (14/2/20)
