"How does Savion  & Sabriyah sound" I asked king, we were laying around the house ."I like it mommy " kaysen said sitting in between King & I. "I'm glad you like it " I said kissing his cheek" ," I like it too bae" king said putting his phone down "you think mel can handle two babies by herself" I asked... James didn't even come to the baby shower. "I'm pretty sure she got it & if she can't... You can help out sometimes" "I hope James change his mind" he nodded "eventually he will" .

"Ma can we watch jungle book " kaysen said getting all in my face, I laughed "yeah, let me see if it's on Netflix " I looked for jungle book while king went to pop some popcorn. My phone buzzed it was a message from an unknown number .

My heart dropped Why does he wanna see me? King came back in the living room "whats wrong with you " he said sitting down .I showed him the message "go & see what his bitch ass gotta say" he said handing my phone back.

"Go by myself " I said "I'll take you, but I'll sit in the car... If something pop off I'll be there" he said eating some popcorn "sssshhh" kaysen said looking back at us. I laughed ,we watched movies until kaysen fell asleep "I swear he always going to sleep"king said carrying him to his room. "He's tired" I said walking behind him.

After king tucked kaysen in we went to our room. I laid down, while king took a shower. My phone started ringing

I ran in the bathroom, king was stepping out the shower... His body was wet & dripping water, I couldn't help but eyeball his package.... No bri push those thought to the back of your head

"You must want some dick" king said chuckling,  I rolled my eyes "no,get dress mel's having her babies" I walked out the bathroom "fr? Thought she wasn't due til another 2 weeks " he said putting his clothes on.
"I thought so too but looks like their ready to come now ,I'll go get kaysen" .

"Kaysen wake up... Your going to grandma house" I said shaking him "why?" He said sitting up in the bed "mel's having her babies " he wiped the sleep out his eyes "I wanna go" "you can come tomorrow " he put his shoes on "okay"

"You called James " king said pulling in the parking lot "oh dang, lemme call em".

"Hey James this brianna.... Mel's in labor, just thought you might wanna know" I hung up. "You ready" King said opening my door "yeah " we walked up to the receptionist "how can I help you" she said looking at king. "We're looking for Melanie Harris's  room" she licked her lips "sure.... Room 334" "iight thank you" "here take this " she wrote her number down."he's not gone need it" I said throwing the number back at her. "Come on " I said pulling king.

"I wasn't gone take her number" he said getting on the elevator.I ignored him,  We got to Mel's room & walked in."hey mel... How you doing" I said hugging her. "In pain" she said eating some ice. "Thats what you get being so mean to me" king said sitting in a chair across from her "shut up " she said laughing.  "How many hours you been in labor" "10 hrs" "aww my poor baby" .

"Mel the line at bogangels was to long so I got you some taco bell" Mrs.June said coming in the room "hey ma " I said hugging her, "hey baby, where my pumpkin at" she said talking about kaysen. "With kings mom" "oh okay... I wouldve got yall something to eat" she sat down "oh no we're fine" . "Did you call James" mel asked. "I did but it went to voicemail.... I left a message" she  rolled her eyes.

15 hrs later
"Okay Ms.Harris... Are you ready to have your c-section " the doctor said "yesssss" she said. I pictured mel screaming & fussing at everybody. But she been cool lol. "The queen shall return " she said waving, as the nurses rolled her away. I laughed "she's a mess " ... "Excalty " her mom said.

James pov
I was sitting at one of my hoes house, when I got a voicemail from bri fine ass saying mel having the twins. "Who was that?" Brittney said walking back from the bathroom "I gotta go... My babymomma having the babies" I started putting my clothes on. "Let me Get dress" she said putting her clothes on. "Nah, stay here " "tf why?" She said crossing her arms.

"Cause you not going " I said walking out.

I pulled up to the hospital & asked the receptionist for mel's room.... I walked up to mels floor & seen bri & nem sitting in the waiting room. "James?" Mel's cousin Gerald said, everybody looked up "wusup y'all" I said rubbing the back of my head. "Bae ima go get some coffee, you want some" bri asked king "yeah". She & mel's cousin walked away

"How long she been back there?" I asked sitting beside king "umm bout 4 hours now" he said scrolling on his phone. We sat in silence for about 20 minutes "so what's new" I said tapping my fingers on my knees.

"Why you didn't come to the baby shower " king said "man, I told you I'm not ready to be a parent & that would've made me think & regret this some more ". Bri & Gerald walked up "here" bri said handing him his coffee.

"I think you & James need to talk" king said to bri. "I have nothing to say to him" bri said drinking her coffee.

"Bae just talk to him.... I tried & it obviously didn't do any good,you try" king said to bri. "Fine, cone on" she walked to the other side of the waiting room.

We sat down next to each other "before you start jumping down my throat about this situation, I love mel... I'm just confused ,like I don't wanna be a bad father like my dad was ya know " "to be honest, I don't care.... Your  grown man James you can make your own decisions " she said walking back over to king.

Damn. That shit was unexpected cause I was thinking she was gonna Start fussing at me about not wanting to be in the kids life but I guess not. & Bri is right I'm a grown man I can make my own decisions & if I think it's best for me not to be in my kids life then that's my decision.

"Bri! " I looked behind me, mel's mom was walking over to bri in scrubs "what happened ma" "what are you doing here" Mrs.cynthia said walking over to me "I came to see my kids" I said standing up "these are not your kids, you don't wanna be in their life remember fuck face" she started hitting me. "Ma stop.... I'm sorry" .

"I'm sorry but im going to have to ask you all to leave" the nurse said. "I'm not going nowhere, tell this black bitch to leave" Mrs.Cynthia said rolling her eyes. "Sir " the nurse looked at me "I'll go, bri can you keep me posted" she nodded, I walked out & got in my car.

I sat in my car for minute & was just thinking about everything, like I'm a dad now...I really need to be in my kids life but I don't wanna fuck up their life. I decided to text mel.

"Omg Mel they are so adorable " my cousin Gerald said holding my baby girl. "Thank you, so bri what you decided to name them" she looked up from my baby boy.
"Savion Jamir & Sabriyah Jaylah " bri said smiling at Savion. "Aww that fits them" "ima go get kaysen & take him him" King said standing up "bye niece & nephew " he kissed savion & Sabriyah's head "don't be kissing my babies" I said making a stank face "man shut up" he walked out. "Ima go to cuh, I left my kids with my Eric... "She said talking bout her childish boyfriend. "Okay bye girl" she walked out."ma you called daddy" I said feeding savion. "Nah you know he's still in Jamaica " she changed sabriyah's diaper. "Ugh, bri can you hand me my phone " she looked in my purse & handed me my phone.

"Bitch" my momma looked at me "watch yo damn mouth " I laughed "my bad, but y'all look at this message James just sent me' they read it "delete " my momma said rocking sabriyah. "I really wanna see what he has to say " I said going to use the restroom "go then" I heard bri yell. "I will,but ima wait awhile" .
