The Event

Child of Man, beseeched,
What is life?
To a beholder reflecting on otherness,
It is an Event.
From a nonexistence of his form,
Coming into being,
Then a return to a formless keeping,
An awaiting, to return to a former form,
To be taken in near presence to account.

An Event,
In which a child of Man,
Is in a pattern,
Destructive or glorious,
Burdened with a purpose.

To make the Creator known,
Known by Otherness,
Opposed by the self,
that was born,
When light was capsuled.
When body had soul.

An Event,
Not only of one child of Man,
But of multitudes.
For Otherness to exist,
To come to know Him.
To come before Him.
To reflect multitudes,
Of onesness.
To no longer be Otherness,
But One.
