พวกเราถูกส่งมาในกล่องกล่องเดียวกัน ซึ่งเหล่าชาวทุ่งก็ดูจะไม่ค่อยชอบใจกับความจริงข้อนั้นเท่าไหร่ โดยปกติแล้ว เราควรจะถูกส่งตัวมาหนึ่งคนต่อหนึ่งเดือนเท่านั้น ยิ่งเราจำเรื่องก่อนจะเข้ามาในท้องทุ่งได้แล้ว พวกเขายิ่งไม่ชอบใจเข้าไปใหญ่

"Hey, did you know what you just said? There is a way to get out of here in that maze? Where? How come the runners never saw it?" I asked.

"Calm down, man. We'll take you guys in there tonight. Just, prepare." Connor said.
"ใจเย็นเพื่อน เราจะพาพวกนายไปดูคืนนี้แหละ เตรียมตัวไว้แล้วกัน" คอนเนอร์พูด
"What if we couldn't make it? Can we really trust you guys?" Fred asked.
"ถ้าเราไม่รอดล่ะ มันอาจจะไม่สำเร็จก็ได้ นายแน่ใจนะว่าเราเชื่อใจนายได้" เฟร็ดถาม
"Of course. Why would you even ask? Gods, I'm hurt." Travis said pouting.
"แน่นอนสิ ถามทำไมเนี่ย ให้ตายเถอะ พูดเจ็บนะเนี่ย" ทราวิสเบะปาก
"If I die, I'll blame you."
"ถ้าเราตายขึ้นมา เราจะโทษพวกนายก็แล้วกัน"
