"Hello Timothy," a voice said slyly.

Masky spun round to see Toby blocking the door.

"Toby, I heard what you did to Hoodie," Masky said angrily, his fists clenched.

"Not that I could hide it anyways," Toby said.

Toby started to circle Masky, "But isn't it weird that the Operator has not found out."

"Yes, it is," Masky said, now thinking of it.

Toby continued to walk in a circle round Masky.

"Read the paper," Toby invited.

"Wha?"

"Read the paper you found."

Masky pulled the piece of paper out and unfolded it.

It read:

'I love you'

Masky glanced up at Toby, who was suddenly closer.

"You did all this because you had a crush on me?!" Masky said, he was still angry but shocked that someone would go this far for him.

"Not 'had', Tim. I still do... but of course," Toby said his voice getting sweeter, "I loved you for quite a while and-"

"You thought it was a good idea of stabbing my partner to get my attention," Masky said before he heard thuds outside.

"Jeff, move over," a voice whispered angrily.

More shifting was heard before Toby threw his hatchets at the door which was now lodged there.

A girlish scream was heard.

"Jeff, you idiot. You'll get us caught."

Footsteps were loud as if the eavesdroppers ran away.

Toby and Masky stood in silence.

"Masky I had to, to rid of competition," Toby said breaking the silence. He seemed nervous and started shifting from one foot to the other.

"So I'm the prize," Masky said, obviously not amused.

"Sort of," Toby dipped his head in embarrassment, "Hoodie and I have been... fighting at the party and I got carried away and stabbed him."

Toby looked up Masky, he could feel the anger radiating off Masky.

"He's alright of course," Toby said quickly, "I wouldn't want to kill a proxy."

Masky turned and headed for the door but was stopped by Toby, who tugged on his sleeve.

"Masky wait," Toby said desperately and pulled at his sleeve.

"Um," Toby mumbled, he just wanted Masky to feel the same way or at least stay a little longer for him to explain, "Masky, I really love you."

Toby then mentally slapped himself as Masky just turned away. This time, Toby didn't try to stop.

Toby fell to the ground on his knees feeling heart broken.
