Denial part 2

It was around 11 pm and Ben finally decided to get out of his computer and get some freaking food.

He stomped down the stairs and heard the laughter and clanging of plates and silverware in the kitchen.

Ben planned to go to the kitchen get a sandwich, make that three, and get back to his room until he noticed a trail of glass leading to the door and a sneaker laid down on the wooden floor.

"Hmmm..." Ben hummed.

It wasn't unusual because the dragging of bodies always happened in the mansion of all creepypastas (especially the cannibalistic ones).

"Wait," Ben snapped at himself, "Isn't that shoe E.J's?!"

Ben remembered that the night before. He attended some cosplayer's party and a person came up to E.J. and him saying they were wearing the wrong costume as well as calling them Jim and Gary. The person also gave E.J. a pair of sneakers saying that he should at least where the right shoes. Silly cosplayers, so naive.

Ben grabbed the shoe before swinging the mansion's doors open and saw, in the distance, was Toby carrying E.J. to the forest.

"Toby," Ben yelled but it seemed as if Toby couldn't hear him.

"Hey, Toby," Ben tried again while running to him, "E.J.!"

Ben finally caught up and suddenly Toby dropped the body and grabbed one of his hatchets.

"Toby you alright, bud?" Ben said worryingly. He glanced at Toby's shirt and saw it contained drops of deep red liquid.

"Oh my god," Ben said, regretting running over to Toby. His powers were weak and useless when he was far from technology and he just didn't think of that before running towards a creepypasta killer.

"I'm telling Slender," Ben said as he ran to the mansion, wishing he was in a video game so he could just teleport there.

Unfortunately for Ben, he had much shorter legs and Toby was taller and not long after, Ben was pinned down before everything went dark as he heard Toby say:

"You're not telling any one."

Followed by:

"Leave no witnesses."
