"Hey Masky," Toby said as he pushed the door open, enough to fit his head through, "I'm going on a mission in a few hours."

Toby was particularly excited for his new task, considering it was his first serious mission as he was finally old enough (not killing people exactly but it has a whole plot to it).

"Alright," Masky said flatly, not bothering to look at the young adult. He was sitting on his desk with one of his hands combing his hair as the other was tapping on the desk, trying to finish his planning for his next mission since Hoodie was out for a few days.

He seemed to be mask-less and his hair was all messy. He was slouched as if his head would drop to the desk and fall into deep slumber.

"So..." Toby said as he pushed the door wider and stepped in, "Is there anything you want tooooo, I don't know, sa-say to me before I leave?" He said with a twitch.

Masky hummed, as if giving thought to the question, "Plan it out right and be sure to think like your subject and devise a Plan B, and possibly C or more."

Toby frowned behind his mouth guard. "Oh um, right, thanks," Toby said, trying to sound as enthusiastic as possible, "See ya in a few months Masky."

Toby walked out and closed the door slowly, not wanting to make a noise to disturb Masky. He felt sad but mostly disappointed because it sounded like Masky could careless about him but about how he would mess up.

"Toby..."

"Yes," Toby said as he opened the door wider, his face lighting up while he twitched a bit.

"Be careful Toby, make sure you come back alive," Masky said as he turned to face Toby. It revealed the dark rings round his eyes. He gave a soft smile.

Toby felt as if he had just melted, "You too, I meant, thanks Masky ... I love you, I MEANT as a friend, bye."

Toby closed the door shut, feeling the warmth migrating to his face as he walked down the hallway to pack properly.
