I'm Fine

 

  I slammed my house door and I felt so low of my self and I felt so humiliated. I can't believe he could just break up with me in front of the whole school like that. I tried to keep myself together and I walked into my kitchen, which was right next to the foyer. 

   My kitchen was very modern, my parents were very into the modern look. The floor was black hardwood and the walls were gray. The counters were all white and it gave off a fresh classy look. 

I started to put water to boil on the kettle and I heard someone knock on the door. I made my way towards the door and I looked through the peep hole and saw that it was my girlfriends.

I opened it "Are you okay Soph?" they all asked as they hugged me. They all looked concerned and worried. After they hugged me all I wanted to do was cry but I forced myself not to. 

"Yeah, I'm fine. "I said as I walked back into the kitchen and they followed me. I took the water off the stove and poured it into my mug, and stuck my tea bag into the mug. 

"He's such a dick!" Mia said as she put her bag on the counter and sat on the bench. "Harry almost beat the shit out of him." Alexa mentioned and that automatically caught my attention.

"What do you mean ?" I asked, wanting more information. I took a sip of my tea and burnt my tongue and lip. 

I put the mug on the counter and then crossed my arms as they continued to explain "He went up to him, and Harry was like 'You're a dick I hope you know that. You had such a great girl and you just let her go like that, in front of the whole school.' and they got into each others faces and it was so dramatic. "

I could never really imagine Harry sticking up for anymore, not even me. I was kinda happy that he said something to Jake because I'm glad someone made him feel bad for what he did.

"And after that Harry literally left, he didn't even finish the last few minutes of the game, he just left. Everyone thought he went to get you but I guess not since he's not here. " Alexa said as she took a sip of my tea. 

"It's all good though because we're gonna stay here with you. Ashley was having a party but I think we're gonna stay with you. You need us." one of them said and I chuckled and began to speak "No. You're gonna go to the party. I'm fine, I'm just tired. I'm literally glad he isn't my boyfriend anymore, so I'm fine." I lied. 

"Alright, well if you need us, let us know."

"I'll be up all night, so yeah, if I need something I'll text you." they all listened as they began to stand up and walk towards the door.
