Humiliated

I was at the football game with my friends. We jumped on the stands and danced to the music that played in the background. Where ever there was music, there was us. We love to dance and sing. We could do it all day. Except Mia, we have to push her out of her comfort zone sometimes.  I saw Jake sitting on the bench, in his football uniform. I decided to walk to him, and sit with him, being that we had a bad start today. 

"You okay?" I smiled grabbing his sweaty hand. I was having such a good time that I decided to let the incident that happened today, go. He's a big part of my life and I'm glad he's not ignoring me like he was a week ago. I felt happy. 

His smile was weak "Yeah, why wouldn't I be.." he had an attitude. I ignored it and didn't respond. 

I looked behind me and saw the girls, they were trying to tell me something. They were waving their hands and mumbling something but I couldn't hear them. "What?" I mumbled.

"Sophia?" 

It was loud and I turned to him and looked at him "Yeah?!" I shouted.

"I'm breaking up with you." he said and I couldn't understand what he was saying.

"Speak louder, I can't hear you!"

"I'm breaking up with you" he said louder but I only heard him say breaking.

"What??" I shouted 

Everything got quiet and he shouted "I am breaking up with you Sophia!"

Everyone, including the players on the field looked at us. All the football players were in shock, including Harry. This was so humiliating. 

I got up, and walked away as fast as I could. The girls kept shouting my name, calling for me. I just kept walking and tried to get out of here as fast as I could, and go home and avoid everyone.

  I felt some anger build up in me as she walked away. How could he just break up with her at a football game, in front of everyone. Out of all times, and places. 

"You're a piece of shit, I hope you know that" I said to him as I got close to his face. 

"This isn't your fucking business, this was between me and her. Get the fuck out of my face." he stood up and got into my face.

"You made it everyones business when you decided to tell her in front of the whole school. Good luck finding a great girl, cause the only great girl we know at this school, you just let go. "

His eyes softened, and then got angry again, and he walked away.
