Chloe's POV:

My life was a disaster. I got kicked out of the only college I ever wanted to go to, I had to take care of a one year old, and my boyfriend had just died. I missed him, and every time I looked at Madison, I saw him. She looked like me, my eyes and hair. But she had Nick's face. Same smile, same nose, everything. I choked back a sob, and called someone who I knew could make me feel better, Paige.

"Hello? Paige Hyland speaking."

"Paigey Mack!"

"ChloBird! What's up?"

"I need you, Paigey. I'm sad and I want to talk to someone."

"Ok. I'll be there. Same apartment?"

"Same apartment."

"Ok. Love ya Chlo."

"Love ya too Paigey."

"I'll be right there."

I hang up, and sigh. Madison looks up at me, her blond curls bouncing. Her blue eyes sparkled.

"Hey, babe!" I say.

"Mommy! Cookie!" She says. She's adorable, smiling. I knew she was going to need a nap soon, so I gave her a GoGo squeeze applesauce pouch. She gulped it down, and I set her in her crib. My apartment was huge, thanks to Nick's success on Broadway. Soon, Paige knocks.

I open the door, and she gives me a hug.

"Babe, you look tired." She says, sitting down next to me on the couch.

"I'm sad. I miss him so much, and every time I look at Madi, it's like I'm looking at him again. Same with the ring." I say, rubbing my forehead. I looked at my engagement ring again, it was beautiful, gold with a pink quartz jewel on top, to represent our dancing careers, or his. Mine was nonexistent now.

"Oh, Birdy, it's ok. Everyone loves you, Madi, me, Maddie Z, Kenzie, your mom, Josh, everyone. And you'll be ok. You know what I was thinking?"

"What?" I ask, seeing the childish look in her eyes.

"Well, guess who wants me?"

"Who?"

"The Rockettes!"

"Paige! That's awesome!" I squeal.

"So, I was thinking, if I bring you in one day, and you show them your skills, they'll love you! You can get a job, like me, and we can live our dream!"

"OMG! Paige, you would do that for me?"

"Totally!" She says. I smile at her, and hug her. She waves, and leaves.

Maybe my career isn't over.
