Kate's POV

Phoebe's POV
Lately, I've been working with J Troupe. I've decided to give Josh and Becca a duet. The story of their duet is that Becca is trying to commit suicide but Josh stops her.
Becca's POV
Our duet is to Titanium.
Josh's POV
Phoebe decided that I need a lesson in Contemporary, so she gave me one. Becca was there too.
Gabi's POV
I really don't like this duet. Becca has tried to kill to kill herself before,and I'm afraid she is going to try again, now that she is thinking about it.

I'm the only one who knows about her already trying to kill herself.

I decided to go talk to Phoebe. Yes, that is going to be hard. And weird. But my sister is at risk here, so I will do it.
"Phoebe," I said, going into the music room.
Phoebe was on the floor, stretching /doing yoga. I'm not sure which.

"Yes," she said.
"Can I talk to you?" I asked.
"Sure," she said, sitting down on the bench.
She motioned for me to sit beside her. I did.

"I'm worried about Becca and this duet you gave her and Josh. She will probably get really mad at me for telling you this, but I'm going to tell you anyway. Becca has tried to kill herself before. I'm worried that she is going to do it again," I said.

Phoebe looked at me sympathetically.

"I'll stop talking about the story of the dance. You tell her not to if you think she's going to. Make her life worth living," Phoebe said.

"Thanks Phoebe. I really needed that," I said, before leaving the room.

Becca's POV
I knock on the doorframe to Miss Kate's office. She is the only one in there.

"Come in," she said to me.

"Can I tell you something ?" I asked.

"Of course," Miss Kate said.

"I have tried to commit suicide. I'm scared Miss Kate. I'm scared that I will try to do it again," I said.

Kate sighed .
"Becca, please don't kill yourself. Your family and your dance family love you," Miss Kate said.

"Thanks Miss Kate. I really needed to hear someone say that," I said, before leaving the office.

Today is the day of the duet competition.

Miss Kate contacted my parents after I told her I tried to commit suicide. I have been going to therapy, and now I'm better. I want to live.

I get to the competition and go into a bathroom to get changed into my costume.

My costume is gray and glittery. It has a piece of white see through fabric hanging off of it. It's actually very pretty.

Then I do my make up.

I go backstage.

"Please welcome contestant number #2 Titanium Becca and Josh from The Next Step," announced the announcer.

I stepped onstage. We did our contemporary dance perfectly. Josh and I moved in sync the whole time.

Later, I am wearing my J Troupe TNS jacket as we dance onstage at the awards. We sit down, and they announce the solo winners and the third place for duet/trio. It wasn't us.

"In second place, we have Tess and Mackenzie from Elite Dance Academy with Fire," the announcer said as Tess accepted their award.

"In first place, with a perfect score of 300 is Titanium Becca and Josh from The Next Step," announced the announcer as Josh and I accepted our award.

I'm so excited that we won.
