By Skye
A cut to release the pain, as depression pours down like a violent rain
Nothing to do but cut and cry, all the time you wonder why
What did you do to deserve this pain, nothing but depression left to gain
At school you smile at the thought of your blade, every day you slowly fade
A real smile is something you don't know, every day you get more low
Drowning in your own sorrow, wishing that their couldn't be a tomorrow
A heart so broken it can't begin to heal, so numb you can't even feel
Worn down from all of the shame, people don't even bother to remember your name
People laugh as you cut and cry, telling you to just go fall in a hole and die
So they'll get their wish just wait and see, they locked up your happiness and took the key
You take those pills and pierce your skin, a broken heart you will never feel again
