By Skye
Every day I fake that smile, even I believe it after a while.
On and on goes this endless game, filled with regret and filled with shame.
A broken heart that I carry around, I call out for help but no one can hear a sound.
So on and on goes this game, no one cares enough to even remember my name.
A tear drop falls down on my bed, weeping and hurting as I rest my head.
No one bothers to see if I'm okay, words of compassion that they will never say.
A hug and a smile is all I need, must I get on my knees and plead?
I say a silent goodbye as I stare into your eyes, an end to a life that was filled with lies.
I pour that bleach into my cup, my final words are "I give up"
