Pic of Jade
Jade POV
I screamed in frustration as the tied up angel in front of me refused to give in." I will ask you one more time" I told him. " WHAT IS HIS SECRET!?!?" I drove a knife into his arm, and he screamed in agony, a sound that is so thrilling to my ears. "I....only.....speak to....my.....master." He groaned back. I shook my head. I thought of all the fun ways I tortured the other angels, but I decided against them. This was just a stupid angle who didn't know what he was asking for. Why can't they just give me what I'm asking for.
I dug another knife into his ribs, and smiled again as he roared in pain. The sound filled the room echoing back to me. I smirked. " I didn't know that you angels were such weak sissies, my, I thought you were much more tougher than that." "Well we are at least stronger than those dumb devils you idiots keep sending up there into the heavens, they die after one cut." He spat back. I narrowed my eyes. I growled, he asked for it.
The knife plunged into his heart. He didn't scream, the death was too quick for him. His wings flashed out, revealing the true angel form after they die. It is absolutely revolting in my opinion. It shows too much goodness. The one moral I was taught against. Living as the daughter of death, in the death castle, all I learned was kill, torture, and destroy.
The door opens and my father comes in, his face hidden behind a black hood. I never saw my fathers face before, though I heard stories of what it looked like. Some say that his face was pure black with red eyes, other say he had no eyes at all. My mother told me he never had a face, that he was a walking skeleton. I like to think that. I kneel to the ground, with my fist on my heart, a sign of respect, for after all, He is Death. My awesome dad.
"Jade, you know very well that you don't have to do that. My darling daughter is equivalent to me, don't do that." He set his hands on my shoulders and lifted me up. I looked into the hollow of his hood and answer,"Yes, father. I'm sorry, the angel wouldn't speak, none of the last 20 angels have." I waited for him to scold me or hit me, like he did the last time I failed, but he didn't. He just shook his head. "We can no longer be on the offensive. They are getting too close." I looked at him in surprise. God has gotten close to our secret! I was shocked. "What should I do?" I demanded. To have hell taken over like this will not happen.
Jade relax, I told myself. Nothing will happen to our world. " Jade, I have one task to ask of you." He told me. I am willing to do it. No matter what it was, even if it was my head. That is how determined I am.
"Jade for the first time, it was actually a human who is getting close to us. You must get rid of him. Do it quietly, I suppose killing a human is going o be easy for you. But, you will be rewarded for this." We must have been in serious trouble if I was being rewarded. Dad never rewards me.
And a human! Never has a human been so close to us. But I can kill him.
"Here is his picture." He handed me picture of Jay, the boy who was supposedly close to our secret. How, it still puzzled me, but killing this pathetic sap would be a piece of cake. I smiled. Easiest mission ever.
