Jade

There were two available houses in the neighborhood Jay lived into. I bought one closest to his house, maybe that will give me an advantage to get close and kill him. The school is about a mile away. So it is kind of close, especially since I can run a mile in 3 mins.

Tomorrow was registration. So I went shopping for school supplies. This is the first time I have ever gone to a human school. I went to a stationary and bought everything. A black backpack, with a skull on it, and pink flowers. Four notebooks, and a few pencils, pens, and erasers.

I don't know what classes to take, I don't know what classes Jay was taking. But I am just taking whatever and then just change it in the system, I went on my daily exercise. In a full sprint I ran around the entire neighborhood. Then I did a few hundred Push ups and sit ups. And I didn't even break a sweat.

I got a feeling that someone is watching me, but I shook it off, it doesn't matter, I'm stronger than whoever it was.

I came back, took a quick shower and went to bed.

The next morning, I woke up and got ready in a tight black dress that falls to my knees. I got on my bike and rode to school.

It was crowded as I got there. I could hardly find any parking and managed to fit my bike in between to small cars. In side was pandemonium, no one was doing anything write. In the crowd I found a boy with brown hair. I tensed. Jay.

It took all my strength to not lunge at him and slice his throat, but I held myself and walked slowly to him. Just get it together,  I told myself. You can get rid of him later. Get to know him first. I walked in to the half formed line in front of him, and held my hand out. " Hi" , I said, " I'm Jade, and you are...?" Of course, I already know who he was and where he live and his family and everything, but rule number one of not seeming creepy is not telling someone what you know about them. I can see him stuttering, " Ummm... My name is Jay." He says quietly. Shy one huh. The funny thing was the girl in a white sweatshirt who suddenly tensed at my name. Who was she, his girlfriend or something?

She better be getting ready for a loss. I smirked at that thought.

" Hey what classes are you taking," I asked him, still trying to NOT chop him in half.

He was a little on edge, he either was new here, or wasn't use to strangers. Did I look that bad that he didn't want to talk to me.

" I am taking English, Algebra, Chemistry, and World History for core and Spanish for language. " he states quietly. " Really.. So am I!!!" I act all excited, but I hate those subjects. Why....? Ugh. I have to for a whole year deal with the subjects I absolutely don't want. Not looking forward to that. But this mission is important. So.

All this time the  girl in the sweatshirt was watching every movement I made, a hand in a pocket around what looked like knife. The school metal detecter would have gotten it. Why does she have one.

My knife has been specially crafted to turn into wood or plastic near a metal detector, so that's why I have one in my pocket, tempting to spear the heart of him. But there is no way she could have one.

The line took thirty minutes to move. Meanwhile I was trying to engage in a somewhat decent conversation with Jay, but he stayed by the girl the whole time. It got a bit frustrating. He got his classes, all of them. Me? Not so much.

My conversation with that stupid teacher went like this.

" I would like the classes English, Algebra, Chemistry, and World History." I said. " Sorry those classes are already full." She replied in a bored monotone voice. " Can't there be an exception.?" Ugg.  I ended up with none of the classes Jay had.

I went home and hack into the schools system. I add my name to all the classes.

I had  to remove one persons name, I would have removed his girlfriend, except I didn't know her name and I was to lazy to look her up.

School starts in a week and Jays life ends in a year.
