Alira POV

Arrows flew around me. No direction was spared. I twisted this way and that easily avoiding the steel points as they whizzed less than a centimeter away from me.

This was just one exercise of my daily training. This, then sword fighting, target practice, physical endurance, and then a bunch of other drills. Up in the heavens, I needed to train this way, everyday forever. I get this special training because I am the daughter of the All Mighty God.

The arrows stop flying and I take a breath. Another day of getting through without an arrow stuck in my arm. It doesn't really hurt anymore. I drink a sip of water, and start to my next room of training. I love my sword.

An hour later, I put my sword back into my sheath and walk down to the lunch hall. Just as I'm about to enter, I see a black thing pass by. Through my training, I had learned to spot and catch fast moving and soon the devil was in my hand. " Spies" I smile. I pull out my special knife and scratch his arm.

The poison kills him.

I go to lunch, and sit among my friends, who complain again that I don't eat enough. I had only two bread rolls, which probably isn't enough, but there might not be food for other Angels.

Heaven girl mindset.

I come out of the lunchroom and am about to go to my next session, when I see a flashing light. Only I know that the light meant I need to meet my father, mostly for a mission.

I wave to my friends and quickly slip into his quarter. I closed the door behind me and waited for his presence.

For an hour I didn't see him. I started to wonder if this is a practical joke, or if I was hallucinating the light. But then he comes.

" I was seeing if my little girl was patient enough to wait for me" his voice announced his entering the room.  I spun around in surprise but instantly relaxed. "Yes."

" Death is going to be found out. This time by a human. He is extremely close to their biggest secret." He said. I was happy, but a little confused. Why am I here if we are this close.

" I can see that you are confused as to why you hear right now right?" I looked at him. Of course He knows what I'm thinking, he's God.

"The reason I have called you is because..." His voice suddenly dropped an octave. "... Jade is out to kill him and sending any angel as his protection is worthless, she can kill them all. You need to go down and keep him safe. Find him, find her and do what you have to do. If he dies, we are back to square one. "

"One question dad," I ask, " Does this human know that he is finding what we need?" It would take a lot of explaining if he didn't.

" No he doesn't, but he is really close, so we can't let anything stop him. Not even Jade."

I wasn't in the mode to go fight Jade, because she was once my best friend. When our dads were friends. When we didn't have the secrets we have now.

It was these secrets that led the once peaceful places apart. Dad stopped trusting Death and vice versa. We stopped talking to each other. And then the war to find the other's secret ended any sort of tie between to two. Except hatred.

I look at the picture carefully, I need to find where this guy lives. But being an expert hacker and having access to every single person, angle, and devil in the entire worlds is one thing I have in me four screen, two keypad computer. High tech, that's me.

I said good by and excused myself to my room. Under my bed I keep my computer. I log in and start my search. Jay Taylor. 6572 Notting dale court NC. There is an empty house three houses down the road. I set it up so it is mine. This kid is going to a school called Notting Dale High. Can't people come up with different names.I take a quick look around the area. Notting Dale Grounds, Notting Dale diner, Notting Dale hotel. Wow.

I have a mission here, and I won't let Jade stop me. I won't let my Dad or Jay down.
