Yukino pov
Today was a normal day in fairy tail high, the fourth bell went off so I was heading down to the lunch room, to day I packet my own lunch, I just packed a peanut butter sandwich and a bottle of milk. As I was walking to the lunch room, where I sit with all my friends, with a smile on my face, today was the day; the day I finally tell sting how I really feel about him, 'nothing can ruin my happy mood today, nothing' I mentally said to myself, but I was wrong, I stopped dead in my tracks when I see my best friend, Lucy, and my crush talking, then hugging. I felt a weird pain in my chest, I turned away from them and sped walked to the roof of the school so that I'll be able to eat my lunch and think about what I just saw.
Stings pov
-at the lunch room-
"Hey, has anyone seen yukino?" I asked as I sat down at my table, with all of my friends.
"I think I saw her heading to the roof doors." Erza said with jellal's arm slung around her, I was hoping that yukino would be here so that I could confess to her. I sighed as I stood up.
"Where are you going" gray asked as juvia had his left arm wrap with both of hers.
"Where do you think, I'm going to see yukino" I said I duh tone as I walked out of the cafeteria and walked up the steps.
Yukino pov
-on the roof two minutes earlier-
I sat on the floor of the roof with my back against the chain fence, I've been thinking about what happened earlier. I thought sting had feelings for me cause of the way he would act when I was near him, but apparently I thought wrong, clearly he's in love with Lucy, the pain in my chest wouldn't stop or at least ease up, but what do know. I could feel my tears brim my eyes at the thought that sting would never love me. "Why sting? Why?"
"Why what?" I heard a familiar voice, I looked up and I was face to face with sting. I quickly looked away from him. "What do you want? Don't you have a date to plan with Lucy?" I said, not making eye contact, with a sad tone in my voice.
"Huh? Why would I go out with Lucy?" He asked as he tilted his head in confusion.
"Don't lie to me, I saw you two talking earlier." I said as I looked at him in the, still with a sad look on my face, he noticed what I was feeling and sat next to me and wrapped one of his arms around me.
"If your referring to that conversation, I was talking to Lucy about how she should finally ask out natsu, and as for the hug, it was her way of agreeing with what I told her." He said as he gently rubbed circles on my back, which made me calm down.
"So, you don't love lucy?" I asked as buried my head into his shoulder.
"I only like Lucy as a friend, the person I love with all of my heart... Is you" he said in a low and soft voice.
"What" I asked as a smile started to form on my face. The blush on his face could rival that of Ezra's hair. But instead of him telling me what he said, he just turned his body and held my chin between his index finger and thumb, he gently moved me head so that it faced his and he started to lean down towards me, this time both of us where blushing madly, he was an inch away from kissing me, that was until the bell went off, signaling that lunch was over.
"Damn it all" we said in unison, in which we laughed afterwards. I stood up and started walking to my next class with sting right behind me. 'The one time when I didn't want the bell to ring, what is my luck' I said to my subconscious. We stopped at the door to my fifth class.
"Hey, yukino, do you want to come over to my house latter today?" He asked with a bit of nervousness laced into his voice.
"Sure, I'd love to" I smiled sweetly at him.
"Great, I'll drive you" he said as he smiled back.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot you have your drivers licenses." I laughed.
"Well, see you latter." He smiled and walked to his next class. 'This is going to feel like a long time, waiting till school is over.'
-time skip-
"Finally, schools over for the week, now juvia can spend the whole weekend with her Gray-sama" she said as she hugged grays arm tighter, gray just rubbed her shoulder and kissed her forehead which made juvia smile widely at him.
"Hey, yukino, aren't you coming with us?" Lucy asked me as she walked towards Ezra's car.
"Nah, I going with sting to his house today" I say as he pulls up next to me. "See you Monday Lucy" I waved as I got into stings car and we drove off with the radio playing 'prayer: by disturbed' we may not look it, but we really like heavy metal bands.
"So do you want to watch a movie today" sting asked just as I got done texting my parents where I was going to be.
"Sure, sounds fun" I smiled as we pulled into his drive way. "Rouge isn't here?"
"Yeah, he's on a date with kagura" he said we got out of his car walked into his house. "Do you want something to drink?"
"Water please" I said as I sat on the couch. He sits next to me and hands me a bottle of water. He grabbed the remote and went on Netflix and searched through the movies. "Hey, play how to train your dragon."
"Sure" he smiled as he hit play and the movie started. I snuggled close to him and rested my head on his shoulder, I felt him rub my head lovingly, but he stopped and cupped my cheeks and gently made me look at him. "We never got to finish what we started."
"What are y-" I was cut off from his lips connecting with mine. His lips where soft, I melted into the kiss and kissed him back. He wrapped his arms around my waist and wrapped my arms around his neck. After a while we pulled away for air.
"I love you, yukino." He said in a sweet and gentle voice.
"I love you too, sting" I said with a smile on my face. He smiled back and started kissing me again.
