CHAPTER3: BEST FRIENDS FOREVER

After school we all went to soniya's house to chill. Her mom bakes the most delicious cookies and cupcakes. So we stuffed our mouths and talked.
" I think I like someone" Linda said looking down and blushing
"OH MY GOSH WHO IS IT?" The three of us say together
"Eric. He's in my bio class" she says turning red
"He better be genuinely nice or we will totes break his face"
"Hahahahah no he's super nice and he asked me on a date today"
"But we have a party to go to" soniya says disappointed
"But I really like him" Linda replies
"Okay so now it's 'really like'" we three tease her

"Okay so do you even know what you're going to wear?" I ask
"Nope" she says
"Okay then let's meet at your house at 5 and then we can all get ready at your place and then go out from there"
"Yeah sounds like a plan" Linda says excited

"I think you should wear this" I say going through the pile of clothes on the ground. Yes this is what happens when a girl wants to look nice, the clothes end up all over the place.
I pick out an indigo skater dress with an open back,black pumps and diamond stud ear rings for her to wear. She looks super pretty in it. Everyone looked so gorgeous, soniya wore a white strappy crop top with high waisted black jeans and a leather jacket, Andrea wore a LBD with a statement neck piece and I chose to wore a black lace full sleeve crop top with tan underlay and a matching lace bodycon skirt. It was a co-ord.
"BTW where is Eric taking you today?" Andrea asks while putting on her makeup. "Oh he's taking me to a new Italian restaurant, I'm not very sure actually" Linda says curling her hair.
That's when Linda's phone starts ringing
"ITS YOUR FUTURE HUBBY. HOW ABOUT I SAY YOU'RE BUSY SEARCHING FOR A CONDOM" I say teasing Linda
"If you do that I swear I will slit your throat" she said running towards me. She grabbed the phone from my hand and went out to the balcony to talk to him. 2 minutes later she comes in screaming "HE'S HERE OMG. DO I EVEN LOOK GOOD? I PROBABLY SHOULDNT HAVE CURLED MY HAIR. MAYBE I HAVE TO MUCH MAKE UP ON. WHAT IF I'M TOO BORING?"
"Calm down" Soniya tells her.
"You look perfect" I add
"Just be yourself, he'll totes fall for you but if he doesn't, don't sweat it, you deserve someone who will love you for who you are" Andrea says
"Thank you people" she tells as we all go in for a group hug.
"Now go. You have a date to attend" I say smiling
"Oh yes" Linda blushes
She takes one last look at herself in the mirror and walks out the door.
"Common single ladies let's go have an amazing single ladies night out party" Soniya says
Andrea and I laugh and we all walk up to the car. Soniya drives us to the party. We make our way to Naomi's house who always throws the best parties ever. She could totally become a party planner. Everywhere we looked, we saw couples making out or dancing. Damn I've never felt so single before but then I look at the food stand and a Cheshire smile appears across my face like who needs a boyfriend when you have food. My friends and I made our way to the dance floor because tbh the only reason I go to parties is dance. I absolutely love dancing. "Sarah, I'm just going to go chill" Andrea said screaming over the loud music "okayyy" I replied

"A glass of fruit punch please" I ask the bartender and turn towards the dance floor. "Hey there" I turn to see the cutest and the hottest guy I've ever laid my eyes on. He had dimples and blue eyes like I could look into his eyes forever. "Hey" I reply trying to act as normal and as unaffected by his looks I can seem. "So are you from the same school everyone here is?" "Yes. What about you? I haven't ever seen you there"
"That's because I just joined school, I'm starting this Monday. My family just got transferred from California"
"Oh that's nice"
"Oh by the way my name is Matt what's yours?"
"Sarah"
"That's a really nice name" he says smiling
"Do you not drink?" He asks pointing at my fruit punch.
"Nope, I have to drive home today so. Don't you?" I say pointing at his.
"If I drink, will you take advantage of me?"
"No" I reply puzzled
"Then what's the use" he winks
That couldn't make me stop smiling
"Do you want to dance?"
"Yes" I say blushing
We dance all night. He was perfect, he had the most amazing personality.
We left the party early, he told me he'd drive me to my house.
"You took the wrong turn" I said
"I know"
"Where are we going?" I began to worry
"I want to show you something" he said looking at me smiling
we talked the whole time
He seemed so genuine and different
"We're here" he said removing his and my seat belt
We walked out and I didn't understand what he really wanted me to see because it was just a plain garage. That's when he switches off the lights and the whole garage lights up. There's a projection of stars all over the ceiling. It was beautiful. "How do you even know about this?" I ask
"I lived here when I was in 7th grade and I always used to come here"
It seemed like I knew Matt forever, it didn't feel like it was the first time I was meeting him. He was so nice and perfect.
We sat in the car. It was a convertible so he put it on the open air mode and we stared at the ceiling and talked for the longest time.
"I think I need to go home now" I say looking at my phone.
My mom had just texted me
"Yes okay and can you not tell anyone about this place? Because I'd like this to be our place" he said smiling
"I won't" I say smiling back.
Hands down he is the most amazing guy I've ever met.
He walks me to the front porch of my house and we exchanged numbers.

Next morning, I was woken up by my mom screaming me to open the door. "What?" I say annoyed. I hate it when people wake me up. "Andrea's here"
"Oh" I get up and open the door.
Andrea stood there with mascara running down her face.
"What happened?" I ask pulling her in and making her sit.
"I slept with Josh"
