My Pokemon Adventures in Sinnoh

Chapter 2: Arrival in Hearthome City

After a couple of hours walking threw the forest we finally made it to Hearthorne city. "Look guys we made Hearthorne city, our 5th badge is just waiting for us you guys ready?"

I looked at Pikachu and Gardevoir, Pikachu nodded looking determined to win "Pika!"

I looked at Gardevoir "Are you ready Gardevoir?" She smiled with fire in her eyes ready to win that badge "Oh You bet I'm ready!" I smiled that's the spirit you two now lets go win our badge."

We walked into town and headed to the gym by the time we got there our jaws dropped "WHAT, THE GYM IS CLOSED!?!"

Gardevoir looked at the sign that was on the door "Looks like it, the Gym Leader isn't here" Me and Pikachu eye twitched "BULLSHIT!" "PIKA PI!"

We sighed and Gardevoir laughed "Come on you two this is a perfect opportunity to get some training in."

Me and Pikachu looked at each other then her "Yeah your right this a perfect time to do some special training, come on let's head to the Pokemon Center to get you guys checked up alright?" They nodded and we walked to the Pokemon center.

After some time we arrived at the Pokemon Center any was greeted by Nurse Joy "Hello and Welcome to the Hearthome City Pokemon center how may help you today?" She smiled I smiled and walked to the counter "Hi there can you give my Pokemon a quick check up?" She smiled "Well of course I'd be happy to." I gave her my Pokeballs and Pikachu and Gardevoir hopped on traily and was sent in the back to get checked up.

I went to go and sit down and over heard some people talking about the gym "Yeah  I hear the gym leader uses ghost type Pokemon?"

"Yeah she does and she's strong especially with that Drifblimb and that Hypnosis attack."

I sat there and thought for a while (Ghost type Pokemon huh? Very interesting.) I heard my name being called to get my Pokemon I get up and walked to the counter "Thank You Nurse Joy." I grabbed my Pokeballs  and Pikachu jumped on my shoulder and Gardevoir stood next to me Nurse Joy smiled "Your Pokemon are 100% healthy we hope to see you soon." I smiled and we walked to the back to the battle field.

"Alright you two I learned something about the gym." Pikachu and Gardevoir looked at me "Pika?" "Really what you found out?"

I looked at them apparently this gym is ghost type gym." Gardevoir looked at me "A ghost type gym huh?"

"Yeah I also learned that this gym leader uses a Drifblimb so the three Pokemon I'll use for this battle is You, Pikachu, and Staraptor." Gardevoir looked at me "Why Staraptor?"

"Because Staraptor is a Normal type so Ghost types moves wont hurt him not to mention most ghost type Pokemon are usually floaty" Gardevoir smiled "I get it now." I smiled "Good"

"Alright lets start training!" I smiled and  Staraptor's Pokeball in the air it opened and Staraptor cane out.

He flew around and cane to the ground "Star!" I smiled "Alright you three lets get prepared for this gym so lets use the time we have to get ready okay gang!"

They all cheered in determination to train "Alright lets start with Staraptor first" he flapped his wings ready to train "Okay Staraptor see that boulder over there I want you to use Steel Wing and try your best to break alright?" He nodded in understanding and took flight in the air and his wings glowed turning into steel and he headed towards the boulder and when he made contact with the boulder ut cracked a little "Thats it Staraptor keep it up" He did it over and over the boulder looked like it was going to break soon.

"Alright Staraptor one more time!" "Star!" He dove down as if was using Brave Bird and sliced the boulder but nothing happened "Huh?" "Star?" We looked at the boulder and the part he he sliced just slides

"Whoa Staraptor that was a clean cut that's amazing!" He flapped his wings feeling proud of himself. "Looks like that Steel Wing of yours is getting stronger and stronger, now Gardevoir your next"

She walked up to me "Alright Travis what you got for me?" She put her hand on her hips ready for some action I smiled "Alright Gardevoir we're gonna work on a combination move" She smiled "Ooo what are we working on this time"

I smiled "Today your gonna combine Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt" She looked at me and smirked "Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt you got it"  she winked at me and put her hands apart from  each other and she formed a Shadow Ball "Alright keep it steady just like that, now use Thunderbolt and let it surround the shadow ball, okay?" She nodded and used Thunderbolt and electricity started surrounding the shadow ball.

"Gardevoir that's perfect now launch that sucker in the air" she smiled and threw it in the air and it exploded "Gardevoir that was perfect keep up the good work girl" I rubbed her head causing her it blush "You got it Travis!" I smiled and walked to Pikachu.

"Alright buddy your gonna do a counter shield" Pikachu looked at me a bit confused "Let me explain remember when we had that battle with Drapion and it used Pin Missile from different directions?" Pikachu nodded his head "Pikachu" 

"This counter shield will help us stop that and help us deal with floating Pokemon that can be a hard to attack. He looked at me and pumped his fist wanting to give it a try.

"Okay here's what you do in the air spin and use Thunderbolt you can also do this on the ground to now lets give it try" He nodded and jumped in the air spinning "Now use Thunderbolt"  "Pikachuuuuuu" he started using Thunderbolt and it was rotating in a circle as if it was protecting him "Yeah that's it Pikachu, that badge is good as ours"

I watched my Pokemon as they wrapped up their training "Good job guys that badge is good as ours" They cheered "Okay I think you guys all deserved a break and some poffins" They smiled big when the word Poffin came from my mouth. I laughed and took the poffins from my bag "Here you guys go." There mouth watered and there eyes were anime sparkling. Pikachu grabbed his and started eating after one bite Pikachu was sent to pokeheaven "Pika Pika", Staraptor grabbed his with his beak and flapped his wings in happiness "Staraptor", Gardevoir used Psychic and her poffin floated to her mouth she bit and blushed hard "Its so delicious its like my tastebuds are going crazy~" She put her hands on her face blushing.

As they were eating we had no idea we we're being watched from a distance. "Look its the twerp with Gardevoir and Pikachu" "This time our plan will work" "Alright then lets do this" "Wobuffet" "Mime Mime Mime"
