i want to be fierce
i want others to look at me and think 'shes indestructible'
i want to be looked at like I'm the colour red; strong, determined
but you made me feel like i was purple; insecure and scared
i was always the strong one, holding people up but never the one to be supported
the thing is about the people who surround you, is that sometimes they forget about you for a while
and thats perfectly okay
everybody needs to learn how to depend on themselves and not others
because every time you rely on somebody else to make you happy
they rip that happiness from you
every single time
