Mayuzumi x Reader

You were a student of Rakuzan, you were reconized as one of the top students always getting the highest grades with Akashi.

You became good friends with him because of being in the student council.

You had to admit being around him was a bit uncomfortable at first because you didn't want to make a mistake and get him angry.

Later on you could give suggestions to Akashi without him glaring at you and getting angry,which made you relived but made a certain someone jealous. You also became the manager of the basketball team.

You love being the manager of the basketball team. One specific player on the team caught your attention,which was Mayuzumi.

Unlike other people you actually noticed his low presence. You found him an interesting person but what made you not approach him was his cold attitude.

You took a deep breath and decided to talk to him. Mayuzumi-

Go away. He didn't even look at you
But that short phrase instantly changed your mood but you didn't show it.

Sorry for bothering you Turning around, you headed to talk with Akashi of the teams stats that you collected during practice.

Mayuzumi was angry not at you but at himself for treating you badly when you have done nothing wrong.

But he didn't know how to express what he felt very good. Your laugh interrupted his thoughts,he looked in your direction seeing you laughing with an annoyed Akashi by your side.

But then he saw Akashi slightly smile at you which made him annoyed and in anger threw a basketball at the wall making everyone silent and looking at him.

...sorry with that being said Mayuzumi left the gym.

You nodded at Akashi and went to look for him. You saw Mayuzumi with his head down sitting on a bench.

Mayuzumi-kun?

He looked up at you with a blank face
What?

A-Akashi wants y-you-

Why is it always about him!

You flinched at his sudden reaction,you never knew that he could raise his voice because he was always quiet.

Akashi this Akashi that why is it always-

You suddenly hugged him which made his eyes widen.

P-Please s-stop you hugged him tighter and took a deep breath

I don't like Akashi he's just a friend a-and I-I.....

You let him go and kept your head low ,Mayuzumi looked at you and waited for your response.

I like you! You finally managed to confess your feelings but you felt afraid.

You heard him sigh of relief,which surprised you.

Well we should head- you were cut off as Mayuzumi engulfed you in a hug.

You started to blush M-Mayuzumi-kun? Let's stay like this for a bit

You tried to look up but Mayuzumi put his hand on your head so you couldn't look at him blushing.

He couldn't speak but instead he hugged you tighter as if not wanting to let go,you couldn't help but smile and hug him back equally as tight.
