Kagami x Short!Reader

~In the locker room after practice~ 

Kagami was going through a dilemma, he could not convince his teammates that he had a girlfriend. Even though he had repeated himself many times. To the rest it seemed that he was just making stuff up. Was it really that hard to believe he had a special someone?

"Guys why won't you believe me. Her name is (Last Name) (First Name) and she's literally in the classroom next door!" Kagami said frustrated.

"I doubt anyone would go out with you Kagami-kun. Since you are so hotheaded." Kuroko replied calmly. Everyone around them covered their mouths to prevent themselves from bursting into laughter. 

"Shut up Kuroko! I.....I'll bring her tomorrow here to watch us practice. Then all of you can stop making fun of me!" He said as he wiped off with a towel. Everyone looked at each other and shrugged. He got all his stuff and got out of the locker room. 

Kagami still a bit frustrated took out his phone and hesitantly  dialed your number. He quickly regretted his decision but before he could hang up he heard your voice. "Hello Taiga?" there was silence. 

"Taiga are you there? Hello?" He let out a deep sigh and decided it now or never. "(First Name) sorry if I bothered you but I wanted to ask you something." You were curious why he sound so troubled so you stayed quiet.

"The thing is...it's actually a bit stupid. But can you come to the gym tomorrow?" You did not mind him asking you but you knew there was a reason. " Taiga is there a reason why? I'm more than happy to go but you seem well...a it off?" 

He groaned. "Come on (First Name)-" you cut him off. "I'm not going then if you aren't going to tell me why. It's out of the blue too!" Kagami already pictures you with a pout so he gives in. "Fine....theydontbelievebneushedkmkdm" you only heard mumbles. "Taiga~" 

"My friends.....my teammates don't believe I have a girlfriend .....I told them you would come tomorrow for practice. So will you shortie?" you giggled. "See that wasn't hard to say was it? Don't worry I'll go tomorrow and don't call me shortie!" he chuckled "Alright. Take care (First Name)."

~Before practice~ 

"Why did I agree to this again? I'll probably make fun of myself!" you thought as you walked towards the gym, but you shook those thoughts away. It wasn't something hard to do you just had to go and present yourself as Kagami's girlfriend. You weren't shy around your friends obviously, when meeting new people you weren't the best at starting conversations. 

When you arrived at the gym you couldn't make it past the door. You just peaked from the door and watched everyone practice. Until your eyes meet Kagami's and walked over. He had a smile on his face. "I'm so glad you came." you only nodded. 

"Come on I'll introduce you. Don't be so nervous everyone's nice." he held your hand and lead you inside the gym. You relaxed a bit and stood beside him. "Hey everyone I want you to meet someone!" 

"Pfft Your imaginary girlfriend?" Riko said Kagami sighed. " Coach she's not imaginary! Let me all introduce you to (Last name) ....." When he turned to his side you weren't there. Everyone burst out in laughter. 

"HAHAHA Is she invisible or something?"said Koganei laughing "Are you sure you're ok Kagami?" Kiyoshi added calmly even though he wanted to join in. "Have you been hallucinating Kagami-kun?" Kuroko said with his usual monotone voice.  No one noticed you were actually behind your boyfriend since you were short. 

"N-No what makes you-" you stepped out from behind your boyfriend and everyone went silent. "I'm (Last Name) (First Name) sorry for not saying anything I'm not the best when meeting new people. I-It's nice to meet you all!" you bowed and you wanted the earth to swallow you up since no one said anything. 

You turned to your boyfriend "Taiga did I say something-" you got cut off by a gasp. " OH MY GOD YOU'RE SO CUTE!!~" you immediately got tackled by their coach. "How someone as cute as you end up with Kagami?" asked one of his teammates. "SHUT UP  IZUKI!" replied your boyfriend clearly pissed. 

" Now all of you can stop with your teasing!" you giggled. After all that  everyone introduced themselves and you got a bit more comfortable around them. You watched them practice and helped Riko out. When you said goodbye to everyone waited for Kagami.

"You were right your friends are nice. I had fun today.~" you said happily " I wanted to ask would...would you like to come over more often (First Name). I'm sure Coach wouldn't mind." you stayed quite "It's alright if you-" you laughed. "Of course I'll go. I can cheer you on as you practice!" 

"Thanks (First name) you're the best and I'm really tired so I'll just-" he placed his elbow on your head. "Perfect arm rest." you pouted and moved aside and started walking ahead. "I'm not going anymore!"

"Hey (First Name) I'm sorry hold up!"
