The Craziest Love Story

Chapter 21

○♡LIZZIE'S P.O.V. ♡○

I was on my way walking into Lowe's to buy some paint and supplies to remodel my Boyfriends room this afternoon. I had exactly 6hrs to find what I need and get over to Mr. And Mrs. Johnson's House to move all of his stuff out paint the walls , then tomorrow I would have to paint it again for another thick coating even though the walls were already white.

My phone rings.....

"Hello? "

" Hey baby girl how are you doing?"

" I'm fine Dad, I'm kinda busy right now can I call you back?"

" Oh well yeah uhmm. I just wanted to apologize for what happened that night between me and your mother , I know I hurt her and I'm still dealing with that til this day. I regret doing what I did I never meant to cheat on her and you. Your my daughter and yes you know I have A lot of children and I'm sorry I should have called you at least to tell you I couldn't make it to dinner that night. I'm sorry I love you and your mother. Your mother was my first love and yes i was with 3 women and had 3 children before your mother , but that doesn't mean that your mother isn't my first love. I love her to death , I planned on marrying her but then we ended up breaking up and I never fought for the relationship back , I just went into the arms of another women."

It was a long silence. I didn't know what to say right then .

" Lizzie , all I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry. I didn't mean to act that way I didn't want you to see me that way. I want you to know that I love you and your mother dearly , and I wanted to know if you could ever forgive me? "

" Yeah Dad I can forgive you. I do forgive you , and I love you too. I know mama loves you too deep down in her heart. Dad she has moved on , mama wasn't going to wait on you to get your Act together forever but at least you made it work for me. She has a happy relationship with the man she loves and wants to marry , I just want you to be happy for her , for me please. Okay dad?"

" Okay , I can do that baby girl. Are you busy Wednesday Night I would like to take you out for dinner to make up since I missed the last one you invited me too. My treat just you and me , I'll even throw in a movie. "

" I'm not busy dad. I should be off work by then , I'll text you and let you know. "

" Sure Lizzie I love you and have a good day. Thanks for letting me talk to you and apologize for everything. "

" no problem dad your welcome."

I loved my dad , I just wish that sometimes he would just ty to not make so many mistakes. I dont want to always look back and say 'Dang why did my dad make so many mistakes in his life with his children even with me and mama.'

I checked out of Lowe's and made my way over to the Johnson's house. I called the Helpers for the movers because I needed help with moving his things into an empty room in the basement. Jayceon told me that his parent's were at work and that they wouldn't be home. After I paid the movers , I began to set up my supplies to start the painting process on his walls. His room was big and and very open and spacious. His walls were tall I had to start out using a ladder even though I'm 6 feet tall even.I had to tape down the corners of the walls and make sure that I started out with a paint brush to do the edges. I poured my paint into the tin pans and placed my brushes in them.

* Facebook Messenger message tone goes off*

It was a text from Jayceon:

Hey Liz baby , I was hoping maybe you would let me get a sneak peak of what you were doing to my new bedroom thanks to you. Its okay I'll just wait until later. Go open the front door and pick up your lunch. Dont worry I just dropped it off I promise I didn't come in. I heard music so I just thought you couldn't hear the door bell that's why I sent you this text to let you know I rung the doorbell and left.
