Long gone

At school students were still preparing for the school festival, Yuki hadn't shown up for three days and it worried Kazuo. He understood that she likes him but he doesn't understand why she had to kill them. Kazuo was helping out when he thought he saw Yuki and another student so he quietly secretly followed them, when he lost sight of them he heard a scream and ran in the direction he heard it in.

"Yuki stop!" Kazuo yelled in front of two girls that were looking at a magazine.
The two girls stared at him then looked at each other and back at him.

"I-I'm sorry I thought saw someone I knew." Kazuo said backing up.

"Oh it's alright, hey do you wanna help us w-" They screamed when they got water poured onto them.

"Who did that?!" The second girl asked angrily.

"I think it came from the roof!" The first girl pointed up at the roof.

"Excuse me I have to go." Kazuo said backing away leaving.

During lunch Kazuo and his friends went to a convenient store to buy their lunches.
"Are you okay Kazuo? You've been acting weird all day." Hanako asked looking at him. "Huh? Oh I'm fine." Kazuo said looking at stuff to buy, "Are you sure? You look like your looking for someon." Katsu said while picking out his lunch. "Oh sorry, I'll be back I'm gonna step outside." Kazuo said walking out.

Outside he looked around and while he did he actually saw Yuki. Yuki looked like she was window shopping, she wore a beautiful pink dress and Kazuo blushed from the sight of seeing her. She caught him looking and took off leaving, he tried to chase after her but people got in his away and he lost her.

"Kazuo are you ready to head back?" Hanako asked looking at him. "Yea I'm ready lets go." Kazuo said looking back at her.
Back at school while they ate he thought of Yuki, Yuki was all that he could think of. He was worried about her and he wondered if she hated being alone, he remembered that she looked like she was crying before he found her in the gym.

"Kazuo? Hey Kazuo!" Katsu said shaking him. "What?!" Kazuo asked looking at them. "You've been spacing out, what's wrong?" Hanako asked getting irritated. "Wait a minute is it because of that girl Yuki?" Katsu asked confused. "That psycho bitch? Kazuo why do you care so much for a girl like her?" Hanako asked angrily.

He forgot he told Katsu about what Yuki told him and then Katsu told Hanako.

"You know what? I forgot to do something I'll catch up with you guys later." Kazuo said just to get away from them.

After school Kazuo quickly left so Hanako and Katsu wouldn't have to tell him he's wrong about Yuki, on his way home he stopped at the convenient store to pick up a snack and after paying he saw Yuki leaving the store. He quickly followed her out and stopped her before she could run, he held her by her wrist.

"Yuki don't go!" Kazuo said looking at her. "I have to go! Let go of me Kazuo!" Yuki said trying to get away. "No I won't let go of you!" Kazuo said in a serious tone. "I want to be alone!" Yuki yanked her hand away and ran off.

He ran after her following her as she stopped in front of a few shops and he stopped two.

"Yuki?" Kazu asked looking at her.

Yuki saw familiar people who had once picked on her and they were passing by on the other side of the street, Yuki turned around running into his arms hugging Kazuo while crying.

"Yuki..." Kazuo said surprised by her hugging him. "K-Kazuo.." Yuki said shaking.
He took her to a park and she stopped crying for a little bit.

"They won't see us here so your safe." Kazuo said looking at her. "Thanks, I guess I should get going now." Yuki said trying to leave. "No you shouldn't, your gonna explain to me." Kazuo said stopping her.

"Explain what?" Yuki asked looking confused. "Why haven't you been at school for three days?!" Kazuo asked a bit angry. "I told you I had to leave and I can't be around you anymore!" Yuki said trying to leave. "Why can't you? Is it because you killed those girls?" Kazuo said stopping her.

"I told you, you should've not bothered to stay around me once you found out! I had a feeling you wouldn't like me I knew you wouldn't! That's why I tried to end it all!" Yuki said angrily.

"Are you sure that's your reason? I can tell you hate being alone and you actually want someone to be there for you." Kazuo said looking at her.

She started crying but she wasn't looking at him.

"Your right, I hate being alone. I have no one!" Yuki said walking up to him crying. "Yuki you do have someone!" Kazuo said hugging her. "N-No! I don't deserve to be with you Kazuo!" Yuki said trying to break away.

"Why? Is it because of what you did? I understand why you did it Yuki." Kazuo said while she stopped struggling. "Y-You do?" Yuki asked wondering.

"Yes I do, if I were you I would've probably done the same thing." Kazuo said looking at her.

"B-But Kazuo.. What if the others at school start hating you because your dating someone like me?" Yuki asked worried. "Don't worry, nobody else knows it was you." Kazuo said trying to cheer her up. "Or what if your friends hate you because of me?!" Yuki asked getting worried. "They won't hate me because of you." Kazuo told her.

"B-But I-" He kissed her before she could finish what she was gonna say.
She kissed him back.
